I know it's one of the most token white guy movies ever and you've all probably seen this, but the look on the Warden's face in Shawshank Redemption when he pulls down the poster is one of my favorite movie moments ever. I had no idea about this movie or its plot the first time I saw it and the revelation blew my mind given the leadup to that scene and what you're lead to expect and how neatly it ties all the themes and important bits from the movie together.

This is an example of a Pre-Code film. Its name is Baby Face, which is about a Zoë Quinn-esque woman who sleeps her way to the top and plays the victim when she is caught.
