It's pretty good quality actually. It was filmed in a cinema, clearly, but it's remarkably well done.

I... actually buy WB animated movies. Probably will be buying the physical copy next week when it becomes available so we'll have a higher-res version.

Also, after a rip-roaring couple of Movie Nights over the weekend, I'm perfectly cool with laying low this week. However, while perusing the discount DVDs on Amazon, I noticed this little gem from my childhood. Kind of curious if any of the other old farts remember this...

Old fart reporting in, because I used to watch that movie like once a week when I was a kid. It was only years later that I learned that the ship was voiced by an uncredited Paul Reubens. I think between that and the armed robbery, this one's prime Movie Night fare.

Speaking of forgotten adventure movies, here's this:

Tim Curry, Ernie Hudson, and a talking gorilla team up with two forgettable leads for 100 minutes of technobabble, African stereotypes, and ape-murder. The version on YouTube is all fucked up to avoid copyright issues, but I can get a better copy uploaded somewhere if anyone wants it.

Santa's Slay is good, see if you can get a copy of Silent Night, Deadly Night 2.
