Children of the Corn. The original one was just so bad it's hilarious, but in a very boring way. Stephen King can crank out some good books but few translate well onto the screen. Shawshank, The Shining, Green Mile are great. But god damn, when a bad Stephen King movie gets made...it's...just so god damn boring.

I did laugh at the scene with the ginger yelling "OUTLANDER!!! WE HAVE YOUR WOMAN OUTLANDER!!!!" Mostly because I saw the south park episode before the movie so when that scene came up I just thought of Cartman.

I recently watched the latest sequel, Children of the Corn: Runaway, and boy was it terrible. How Children of the Corn became the Stephen King adaption with the most movies out of 10, 11 counting Disciples of the Crow, is beyond me.

It is amazing that a movie series can be so boring and it oddly has an interesting premise to me. The idea of kids killing adults and taking over a town could have some serious creepiness and suspense to it. Instead it just putters on and the special effects are so horrible. Then the whole "He who walks behind the rows" is not even explained. It just is there like "yeah, you should totally get this."

After Earth. The acting was really stiff and the pacing was rather slow. The action was pretty lackluster that I fell asleep once in theatre.
The Movie kinda tarnished the reputation of Will and Jaden Smith (of course, until Jaden did it himself). But its Shyamalan, this guy was known for letdowns.
The worst thing about M. Night is that he has to insert himself into every movie in the most outlandish way possible. Stan Lee does it in Marvel movies but it's funny and fits in just fine. It becomes a fun game to see where Stan Lee will pop up. M. Nights are just...ugh.

Thought Sixth Sense and Unbreakable were good in my book. After those two he just kept churning out pure shit. The Village was just so dumb.

Split was good though.

Never even heard of it. I hated Signs. It was like a TVmovie but on a massive budget. I almost thought it was meant to be a joke or something. Like a shout out to those horrible 50's B-movies. Mel Gibson really is out of place in that one. So is Joaquin Phoenix but that's because he's a terrible actor and the wrong Phoenix died too early. His brother had a real talent. It's like the Belushi brothers.

It's kind of a sequel to Unbreakable. There's gonna be another one with both James McAvoy and Bruce Willis returning.

Nice. I actually thought Unbreakable was his best movie. Even his bullshit cameo makes sense. An Indian doctor is not out of place at all. I actually liked the idea of a superhero not knowing of his powers and the concept that folklore being based on real people who have exceptional (note I didn't type tard here, I mean it unironically for all you retards) powers.

Controversial Opinion: I generally like Sergio Leone's films, but both The Good the Bad and The Ugly and Once Upon a Time in the West could both be trimmed extensively without losing much.

Disciples of the Crow is probably my favorite of all of those. The Un-Hollywoodness of it is cool and the fact that it's short and sweet is icing on the cake.

I wouldn't say it's one of the most boring things that I have ever seen, but I tried to watch Luchino Visconti's The Leopard recently and I couldn't be bothered to make it through more than 1/3 of the film before giving up on it, and that's an extremely rare occurrence for me. I consider my patience for films that most would call slow to be well above average, I enjoy really snobby shit like Romanian New Wave films, Lav Diaz, and Sergei Parajanov for example, but the only aspect of the film that I found remotely memorable was Burt Lancaster's glorious mutton chops + mustache combo. Shame.

Days of Heaven is a good example on how a film can be utterly beautiful and utterly tedious at the same time. That can also sum up my thoughts on any Terrence Malick movie, really.

I tried watching Beast of Yucca Flats without Mike and the bots' riffing and I couldn't get through it.
Beats of Yucca Flats is advanced viewing only, wven with Mike and the bots. Red Zone Cuba actually has stuff happening...though a lot of the time it doesn't feel like anything is happening when its happening. But hey, when they storm the beach, Spielberg ripped it all off for Saving Private Ryan.

took me three tries and shitload of stimulants to get through it without falling asleep. (Solaris. Fucking Tarkovsky is kind of like that. Stalker was not much better)

The only movie that I actually fell asleep watching was The Informant. It's allegedly a comedy at least that's what the back of the dvd said.

The first Fast and the Furious movie.

Tried watching it when it was new. My friend tried getting me to watch the DVD when it was released. I've tried watching it once or twice more since then.

No exaggeration, every single time, within 40 minutes or so, that movie puts me to sleep. I've never finished the whole thing because it bored me into sleep each time.

Under the Skin is by far the most boring film I ever saw. After the first 20 minutes are spent establishing the protagonists and setting up this intriguing world, Scarlette Johanson spends the rest of the film driving in different vehicles and will maybe interrupt with actual scenes carrying forward the plot.
