🎨 Artcow Morgan Slade / Adventures In Genderland

I've never seen someone less suitable for cross-sex hormone treatment. She's evidently a not-girly girl who never realised that you don't have to iron your hair and wear a bucketful of makeup every day to qualify for the word 'female'. Someone should've paid less attention to the media and more attention to the world around her. Do these idiots not realise that women, like all humans, come in all different shapes and sizes?

Shrinks that encourage this shit are just as bad.

What a fucking cuck.

Buy the t-shirts online then you big baby.

Stores are gender and ages separated for a reason. So people can actually find things.

Butch and femme aren't gender identities but words used in the lesbian community. Femme comes from a book of a lesbian writer in 1900 as far as I know.

Troons latch onto everything.

See, I didn't know that. I thought a femme was a troon of some kind. Thanks transtrending.

Much like Sophie LaBelle of Assigned Male fame, Morgan came to the conclusion that they were trans in a very well-thought out way...

So she drew herself as a boy, liked what she drew, and thought she were a boy?
That's even more retarded than Phil's story. At least Phil actually dressed up as a female character to discover he is "trans".

This person seems less obnoxious than a lot of the genderspecials, but when I think of trans cartoonists (cartroonists?) I always think of unstable nutcases like Bria or self-important narcissists like Labelle.

I think this person doesn't angst over gender, but desperately wants to. The impression I get is that she's a comfortably middle class girl with a loving family, and she wants to rebel but has nothing that she wants to rebel against. One day she drew herself as a hot guy and thought, "I have drawn a man I am attracted to OH MY GOD I AM THAT MAN." The fact that she's angsting so much about whether she even is trans says it all - it's a subculture for her, not a reflection of a genuine gender identity crisis.

Nice new tumblr troon, thanks.

Weirdly enough she looks like an ugly guy who wants to be a girl, so if I met her in passing.I’d probably call her “ma’am” to try and be polite. Imagine my surprise at her being the other way around. She definitely acts like a girl though.

Every sound intuition in their body is telling them not to go through this.
It's when they start hanging out with the "crowd" that they begin to feel obligated to follow their lead because they are the only ones who "understand" them.

Just imagine what will happen when they start taking hormones.

Come on, obviously you’re not actually spending time with trans men.

It’s other girls playing dress up (if they even bother to do that), so of course she’s going to “fit in” with them and reaffirm her beliefs as to what being male is (dressing up as a girl
and crying when people call her one).

“I just want to be the gayest, prettiest boy” my arse.

If she spent time with actual trans men, she’d probably hate them. A lot of them are perfectly capable of being douches, and those who aren’t are still all growing beards/working out/hanging out with those nasty cis men. Because they want to be actual men, and have enough grey matter to figure out that you need to look and act like a man if you want to be called one.

What she wants to be friends with is women. Which she was bitching about earlier, not fitting in? Congratulations, she found a group of women she fits in with. Shame she has to pretend to be a gay boy in order to join their girls club :story:

This comics are way better than most tumblr trans comics I've seen. The stories are short and to the point. The art is very simple, fun and palatable. The protagonist seems very petty and though in real life I would avoid them, experiencing their misadventures in comic form gave me a good chuckle, even if it may not be the kind of chuckle the artist was trying to elicit.

IMO, this cow is more sad than funny. All I see is a person suffering from anxiety and loneliness desperately trying to meet the expectations of other people. She should stop worrying about pre-defined gender roles and just learn to be comfortable with herself. (:optimistic:)

I love how insane people seem to assume that everybody worries about this gender shit so much.

Watch as Morgan suffers the oppression of a cis-guy cosplaying the same character:Ver archivo adjunto 315713
It's slightly less shit than Assigned Male in the sense that she doesn't go out of her way to portray cis men as inherently evil. She actually seems fully aware of her jealousy, and she portrays herself as merely being angry while Labellend's self-insert would have been a total asshat to the guy.

Although I'm certain that a few years from now her stories will be virtually indistinguishable from Labellend's.
