Today, I had to go to the local post office. I live in Lake Elsinore, CA an area that has more than a few red neck, idiots or as I call them Trumpsters. When I walked in it appeared that the office was closed. I looked around to see what the reason was and was in the process of reading their posted messages when I saw the above sticker that some asshat had put on the drop box inside the post office. I have to admit that it pissed me off. First, because the colors matched all the other post office decals and stickers it appeared that it was part of an official decal. But then I noticed that it appeared that someone had already tried to remove it but the glue on the sticker must be the kind that is meant to stick forever. So, after taking a few pictures of it and the surrounding areas, I put on my “Karen” hat and rang the customer service bell to speak with someone. When a person finally came to the pick-up window I asked to see the manager (Going full Karen here). About five minutes later the same guy came back and said that manager was in a meeting and asked if I could leave a message with my name and number and he would have him call me. But, just then he showed up.
I maintained my composure but demanded to know why the “Let’s Go Brandon, #FJB” sticker was allowed to remain on the drop box. The manager seemed unaware of what I was talking about and I pointed to it and said that is Offensive and I want it removed immediately. He seemed shocked that it was there, agreed and said he would take care of it.
I left and my car was parked right in front of the door. So, I sat in my car and watched and a woman came out within seconds and started to work on removing it. I was satisfied. But it got me thinking, some asshat designed that sticker, another asshat printed it, another asshat sold it, and yet another asshat bought the sticker and placed it there. There sure are a lot of asshats out there.
