This is what I'm leaning towards too. I don't think it's a court-ordered thing, I think it's some similar device probably required by the home he's in. The fact that it's over the sock rules out court/government radio device and I think those are probably all old shitty tech, this is probably something a little newer and less intrusive that they probably put on and off before his outings of wherever he goes to work.

I also suspect that CWC, whatever bit of labor they gave him, is not publicly-facing work. I suspect they understand Chris's infamy and would not have placed him where the public would find or interact with him. There are so many different businesses that partner with programs for disabled adults and Chris could be doing anything as long as it's very simple work and their standards are very low. He is most certainly in some place for physically and mentally disabled adults and they are going to do everything to keep him from interacting with the public and reinforcing his bullshit. Too bad they can't treat him properly due to the times we live in, regarding the tranny shit. Despite that being a clear extension of his mental illness they will just validate that shit.

Good god, I remember telling people about CWC the fucking early days when he was still wearing The Classic and was producing his "TO THE MOON!"-style content. If it was some sort of a tracker or device, why would he have two of them in the exact same area of each sock? It's just a striped sock and honestly the retard probably painted the stripe on. That's exactly the point. They want him to be functional, normal, and rehabilitated for normal society above all, best CWC can in his own CWC way. Part of CWC's treatment will be integration into normal society. This is the first time CWC has gotten real professional mental help, remember. He is a potential flight risk. I would be shocked if he did not have a monitoring device. The whole point of such a device would be so he could actually leave and still be monitored. The other stripe appears to be black so that actually could be a court-ordered tracking device. Hard to tell, maybe someone has other pictures. They definitely don't look like stripes on the socks, though.

With all due respect, I think you're really reaching on this one. If anyone can conclusively prove me wrong, I'll gladly admit it. I did some serious CSI level enhancing and zoomed into the pic and the blue stripes don't even appear to be sticking out at all outside of a bulge of sock on a frumpy rapist. This leads me to an autistic rage of mine, if you're going to wear tall socks, pull them shits up or wear shorter socks FFS. If he tried, he couldn't look any more like a rapist.

Unless it's a place that's known for being "fun, unique, and experimental" (a nice coded way of saying they'll charge you out the ass), or a stylist just happens to have colors on-hand, this is the kind of blue a salon doesn't usually have.

There's exceptions, especially with how common vividly colored hair is now, but often that's still actual salons. Bleach and dyes aren't cheap, generally involve some kind kind of treatment after bleach or with the dye, and keep tone variance by doing some highlights and lowlights in the bleaching process. That teal you can see at the bottom of his ponytail is wash-out from not thoroughly pulling the dye through the areas with the most hair or the underside.

In addition, I know he's going for that sonichu look, but his hair looks unironically zapped. Not that I think Chris can maintain his hair, but it does at least look clean. Not to say he isn't using cheap shampoo and conditioner (provided he uses conditioner at all) or some godforsaken 2-in-1, but the destroyed ends seal it for me. I've never heard of a salon where they don't trim, color treatment or not, for the sake of overall hair health and because they don't want you leaving looking like they fried your hair. Even if he had it done by cosmetology students as some have theorized, a health trim is part of the basics.

Tl;dr: There's no way a stylist or salon did this

All that said, my money is on Chris having had someone that isn't a professional or a student help him bleach and dye his hair the first time, and now he's using this

Unicorn Hair in Mystic Electric Blue. It's $14 on Amazon, but a search of "where to buy" shows it's stocked at some Walmarts, and several stores you can commonly find at malls or in/near shopping outlets (Ulta, Forever 21, JCPenny, Sally's, and Target). It checks all the Chris-centric boxes.

It's a damn shame he may not be allowed to have things shipped to him for anonymity reasons if he's in a group home. We may have gotten to see CPU Goddess Blue Heart take a rest in the Inner Dimension fot the re-emergence of the True OG Sonichu himself! The recent sighting has me convinced Chris is being monitored. I propose that Chris is wearing his sock under the ankle monitor to remove the "icky" feeling, or whatever the hell tards call it. We know his autism makes him feel uncomfortable with certain materials on his skin, as shown by the padding he uses on the sonichu medallion. He's not wearing the sock over the monitor to hide it like a normal convict would, because he has no shame.


The first sighting in early May. The blue band is on the right leg. Also note that the socks are pulled tight, showing 100% of the pattern.


Early June, seen pushing a woman in a wheelchair. Again, there is the band on his right leg. Different socks this time as there is no logo on the back.


Early July (notice a pattern of when the public outings occur?) There's the blue band on the right ankle.

I'm not saying this is a 24/7 state-monitored situation. This could be a group home rule where everyone going out in public gets a bracelet so they can't get "lost". Whoever it may be, Chris is being watched when he's out in public.
