For work only really, everything personal can and should be run through Firefox+uBlock, period. Banking shit works perfectly fine via browser and that's the typical and only real valid argument I ever see.
I am still trying to come up with a solution for paywalls within video iframes, though. If somebody has an idea for how to get around stuff like this I would be much obliged.
There are literally other, better sites that upload new shit and don't paywall.

It is not my bank app, as it still works after you close the "Google Play services required" push notification after you open the bank app.

At work, employees are required to use something called Microslop Authenticator on our phones to log into our company emails on our work desktop computers and it constantly runs in the background of the phone as long as you have our company email client open.

as long as you have our company email client open.
So force-close as soon as you clock out. Or have some cheap and miserable work phone that doesn't go home after you punch out. Solutions are plenty out there, but we as a species are lazy pieces of shit and are naturally addicted to "convenience" and all-in-one Brother printers.

Then sites tarted getting optimized for Internet Exploder Explorer, but could still work alright on other browsers.
I hate the Chrome monopoly as much as the next guy (probably more than the next guy, really), but the "optimized for Internet Explorer" age was way worse. At least Google fixes bugs in their piece of shit browser.

im trying to register an account on a payment processor site, they refuse to let you sign up on the website and only do it through the APP
so i install their retarded APP on my old phone and it complains that it's out of date. then i installed their gay retarded APP on my new phone and it complains that it's rooted/failed safetynet checks. so i install their gay retarded fucking APP on an old iPad i have laying around and start to go through the setup process, but it's assuming i'm trying to setup a personal account instead of a business account and asking me irrelevant shit like annual income and my SSN and my personal address instead of business-related info. then my iPad died so i gave up.
how is paypal still the most competent payment processor?

Now sites may not work right on any browser. So you click on a link and you may see only a blank white field of BS.
You can tell that most sites are optimized for mobile. This site is no exception anymore either. The new video player is clearly for mobile devices. And half of the posts on this forum are low effort single sentence posts or just an embedded social media link with no text. These are obviously being done from phone users who aren't here to actually have conversations but are coming from reddit and treating this site like social media. There was a rule in A&N where single word posts would get you banned but that should honestly just apply site wide.

This should be illegal. Requiring a phone, especially a smart phone, for anything should be restricted. But of course it's not going in the opposite direction where practically everything online is going to require a modern smart phone with the latest software updates and identity verification.

I can flash my phone to use a non-pozzed ROM. However if they mandate a bunch of stuff through law, it maybe made impossible to do that.
this wouldn't be a problem at that point because humans will find other methods of secure communication.

we can always just go back to sending messages via wife or your security detail.

how hard is it to deliver text securely?

We are talking about online communications that reasonably accessible for most people.

I don't have a wife or a security detail. Do I not get to send messages?

It has been a problem for the last 2000 years or more. It is an ongoing issue.
