Modern iPhone battery issue? - Fuck Apple, going back to Galaxy next!

iPhone 13 Pro is now losing 90% battery with 4 hours of SiriusXM app play, and 1 hr of phone calls/texts. Never lost more than 10-15% battery in a day until recently. I refuse any updates. Anyone else having this problem recently?

Might not be a bad idea to update now if you have to, the new iOS 26 has Aero effects thanks to Zoomers not shutting up about Windows 7 which runs like shit on iPhone 13 and below.
I have no idea what I'm gonna do now with my 13 mini but I'm probably gonna keep it on 18 for a while.

I meant more Aero style effects are coming to iOS because Aero is the rage right now.
They look cool but take up system resources and in true Apple fashion probably won't be a way to disable them.
I've heard the new iOS 26 beta runs slow and overheats iPhones 13 and below. But some of that may just be because its a beta, wait and see.

Fully charged, showing 91% in settings. SiriusXM app killed the hell out of it. It's never hit it that hard before.

Half of them don't even remember aero, and forgot how it was even hated back then. While not bad as the current flat art style that I absolutely fucking loathe, it's the rose tinted glasses again. But also I don't have ios so my opinion dont matter

Microsoft with white programmers couldn't get Vista to run well with Aero on anything but a top of the line gaming pc, now imagine Apple trying to do it with their Jeet programmers of now.
But they probably love it because people with older iPhones like myself will get annoyed with how slow it is, and buy a new one.

"Top of the line PC" is a bit exaggerated, my kiddo gaming PC certainly wasn't first rate and it had no problems.

Works on all the phones I have had, both on iPhone and Android. I can go for at minimum of 3 days without charging and often last a week. Seriously, modern apps are so unoptimized and relies on being connected online it all results in the battery getting drained within minutes.

I have zero respect for modern "programmers", they should face the wall. What's the fucking point of having faster and more energy efficient hardware if it all gets bottlenecked by retards who can't code.

Aero runs fine on my shitty GMA 4500mhd Vista and 7. Maybe you should stop expecting your shitty VIA graphics chip from 2002 to be able to do anything more than display a single 64x64 bitmap.

Liquid Glass looks more like genuine poojeet shit where they just slap fancy effects fucking everywhere without any thought into whether it should actually be there and how to make the elements stand out from the background without straining your eyes in the process. I don't like my buttons blending in with the fucking background, it's such a fucking headache.

There are "variants" of aero depending on your gpu capabilities. For full experience you had to enable it manually.
Horrible theme anyway.
OP: Reset phone and try again. Something in the OS has gone haywire.

If it’s third party apps causing battery drain, it may be something with the app performance that is causing an overlock.
