Didn't "X says Gay/Trans Rights" start out as mocking that woke capitalism all talk no action mindset?
But then in a textbook example of corporate brainwashing it became completely unironic and sincere?
That's what really killed memes.

Now we have "relatable" twitter accounts and blatantly designed shit like Baby Yoda and "This is the way".

Seethe and cope is just triggered 2.0 but instead of it being used by insufferable "trigger the libs" type of right wingers with no sense of self awareness or irony, its used by insufferable "trigger the cons" type of left wingers with no sense of irony and self awareness yet double the faggot energy. It hasn't lost all of its value yet but its happening pretty quickly.
