The thread for soyjak.party is basically its own mini-forum at this point and that comes with a lot of unique problems, namely that it moves very fast and is basically un-moderateable by normal KF standards. The general philosophy has been to just leave the thread users to their own devices, but this makes it very difficult to use when schlog users or other spammers decide to shit up the thread by using it as a personal Discord. There are people who just want to talk about the site and this is an obstacle for them. The shartysphere also moves very quickly and it's easy for a KF moderator to get caught unaware by an event that causes an uproar in the thread that they have no context for (i.e froot is currently permabanned because some random schlog namefag asked null to ban him and he just did it.) EDIT: Apparently froot was actually banned for fedposting, nevermind. The rest of my post still stands.
I therefore propose the idea of a sharty despot, who has moderator powers specifically for the sharty thread and nowhere else. Ideally someone who is a community member who is a frequent user of the sharty and can therefore keep up with whatever the FOTM bullshit is and clear out the shitters when they start getting uppity.
The most immediate obstacle I can see is that this kind of creates an implicit association between KF and the sharty, or something like an endorsement. Also considering the historical view of IB users on moderators you could be hard-pressed to find someone who actually wants to do the job.
This is actually a really good idea, but good luck trying to get this implemented, I don't think Null cares much for how our thread is doing at any given time seeing that he generally resents us for doing not much more than shitposting unlike the other Community Watch threads.
@Chudborean I'd like to hear your thoughts on this whole proposal (thread and this particular post) as well, I think you'd make a good janny for the thread but also I doubt you're willing to spend time presiding over a bunch of retards

The Articles & News board outside of USPG2 is literally just a Republican circlejerk that consistently produces the site's worst users and even that has a mod or two.
It is a lot of threadshitting but the sharty has some of the most interesting community drama of any webzone. It's beyond plagued but I think it's worth the bare minimum quality assurance.
I think this is a good idea, too many people come over from the Sharty and its associated sites and don't lurk moar before making an account; alongside constant unironic unthumbnailed images and double-posting, there was a case of some thread shitter coming to the Sharty thread and octuple-posting before getting jannied and banned:
