How many stoic khabib clones are we going to get until East Europe runs out of them?

All of them until someone comes up with a counter to high pressure ticky tacky wrestling.

The US trained guys can seem to handle it fairly well but the kickboxers and BJJ guys just get manhandled. The -istanis are starting to get a handle on striking as well because the wrestling is basically instinctive to them from their first MMA fight.

What I think with the Caucus wrestlers is that, as we've been over many times before, knees and kicks to a grounded opponent would immediately even out the playing field a bit because without that shooting is a lot less risky. If you get sprawled on and a dude can knee you that's a bit of a problem, and throwing knees is easier than fishing for front chokes and you don't even have to switch grips or such as.
Obviously there's more to it than just that, but it is a factor and as we've seen from Japanese promotions it's a very viable strategy.

And if they lose, they just get a bunch of their family members together to beat the guy with a lead pipe 4 on 1.
You have any idea how pissed younger when you hear some 260 pound tool talk about the reason he loves BJJ is because it's the gentle art that uses leverage, because old faggot Gracie was such a dainty poor flower that had to fight for food. BJJ is s cult, bring up that he was a rower in a prestigious school and was literally trained by a Japanese Jiu Jitsu instructor that was flown out to him, and you're considered a liar. One of the reasons I stopped.

You would just need to find a place that doesn't focus on all the Gracie dick sucking shit. fortunately there's more gyms who will just say they do submission grappling and focus on what works rather than preaching made up mythos of a rich Brazilian family who have constantly re-wrote their own history.

"Guys, didn't you know that Helio was literally dying of AIDS and he learned BJJ purely by watching his brothers train while he was lying on his death bed."

Other reason are my knees are pretty fucked, because of assholes from different gyms. You mention you're a white/blue belt from a different gym every faggot wants to fuck with you to see how good your gym is by gucking with you. I know right? Makes total sense for grappling fags that would rather do grappling then stand up and get punched in the face and learn how to strike. "Bro I don't spar I just roll, proceeds to try and destroy every tendon in my knee."

Those kinds of people also would avoid actually doing competition where they're going to get evenly matched with someone who's going to go 100%. Instead they'll just pick in gym rolls where they think they can get an advantage and then hope the other person doesn't now they're going to roll at full pace.

Nah they trained and were studs. Which, in my idiocy, used that as a bar to judge myself. One gym in particular was Miguel Torres’ gym. I was invited to train there by a buddy I ain’t seen in years, but his work schedule didn’t match with mine. He worked mornings while I was afternoons. So I showed up there expecting to see him and not. Redzovics are fucking faggots too.

Edit: Anyone in the Midwest Torres locks you into 6 month memberships because he’s a cunt.

I got promoted to purple and stopped after. Been thinking of going back, but I know any injury is gonna fuck me up financially. Im being a pussy though, I know.

A serious question: Why are Hong Kong and Taiwanese so shit at fighting? Especially Taiwanese who are as shit as Pajeets if not worse (since at least Hong Kong has a few low-tier KB/Muay Thai journeymen in ONE). Singapore, despite having a much smaller population, managed to do better than those two.
You'd expect them to produce at least one prospect because they're relatively developed and free, and also have a prominent thug life culture (the Triads stereotype), but so far there's none. They can only thrive in low-level SEA regional scenes, and they all get brutally mauled once they face anyone remotely decent. FYI the best new gen Taiwanese MMA, kickboxer, and Muay Thai fighters all get destroyed by random no-names in these two months.

>mfw realizing pajeets aren't really the weakest ethnic.

This is (probably) the current p4p best Taiwanese MMA fighter if you wonder, and this is what happen when he faced a real prospect in Shooto, Japan.

There's a tradition of striking based martial arts in a lot of Asian countries so guys who can wrestle will fuck them up fairly handily.

There's a reason that ONE cards have the Muay Thai and kickboxing matches separate from their MMA matches.

Yep but Hong Kong and Taiwanese ALSO suck at KB and Muay Thai so that's not the answer.
Though the Taiwanese fighting scene is legit shit no one cares about so I don't really expect to find out the real answer. I only follow it just to see how the Taiwan numba one get humiliated in the most hilarious manner, the same reason as following pajeet "prospects". It has been pretty satisfying so far.

Iron sharps iron.

The quality of a fighter is the reflection of the quality of it's gym, meaning coaches, sparring partners, training regiment, etc.

If you don't have acess to a gym with great quality, there is only so much physicality and talent can do for a figther, and both China and Taiwan don't have much in terms of history of MMA, both in tradition and figther quality, so it's harder to develop talent than a place like Brazil, which has MMA dedicated gyms since the 80's.

Also poor incentives, if you think being a MMA figther in the US is shit, try the regional Asian scene. If you have any athletic talent, you would pursue a better paying sport, and right now, playing Ping-Pong pays better than getting punched in the face in China.

And of course that goes for every country. I just mentioned Brazil and it's MMA tradition right?

Yeah, there is also the fact that a lot of Brazilians who picked MMA are failed soccer players who couldn't cut in the base teams.

USA? Even a low level baseball/footaball/basketball player makes more than a MMA fighter by leaps and bounds.

So it is a mix. You need a solid base to build experience and quality gyms, but also a finantial incentive to get the young and talented to invest their time in the sport. And if not... well.

AFAIK you can make millions in China even as an average UFC journeyman by milking thr fans, because they are desperated for a real UFC star.
Anyway, at kickboxing, my boy Mory Kromah just proved himself as a real legit champ over his rematch against Milos. This is what would happen if Pereddit stayed in Glory btw, and what will happen at the white house.
