I want to give him some credit for even knowing James May, but I know it's just all about the Legos

At the risk of sounding like, I would like to remark that it's perfectly normal for humans to be (subconsciously) attracted to traits present in their own parents. Any psychologist will tell you that it lies in the human nature to find those traits desirable that were present in the primary role models you grew up with. So I don't see anything particularly Oedipal in the revelations here.
Of course, it's still reallyof Chris to explicitly mention Barb in this context, not to mention their spooning and everything else...
Might be the fact that thus far The Tudors is the only show where you can see Natalie Dormer nude. Not even Game of Thrones has that shit.

"I have just learned from my mother that she worked volunteer at the library in her High School. It shows how I tend to feel attracted to the bookworm types."
This is gross. Yeah, my mother was a bookworm, too. She also loved to lay around all day reading, making herself ill, and doing nothing to help herself. I find this so UNattractive that it has ruined the process of sitting down to read a good book for me. I just about get a panic reaction if I try it for too long, thinking I'll end up just like she did. How Chris could find what has sounded like a pretty similar situation with that land whale attractive, I'll never understand.
In my house, it was your full name.In my house, when you heard your middle name, you knew you were in deep shit.
Forgot that Chris's cultural commentary gives me violent migranes.
I wonder if that means Chris has never seen Barb read a book. It would explain why he made her being a librarian in high school the sign of her being a bookworm. As opposed to some time a couple weeks ago when he saw her reading a book. It would also explain her ignorance.
Bob probably didn't even believe in Autism
The licence plate explanation is hilarious.
It's obvious Bob could not be bothered to explain the United Nations, so gave CWC some mumbojumbo about the plate being about autism lol.
Chris is fucking cluesless.
I think Chris was simply lying.
Look to Christory and you will soon realize TMI is his modus operandi. Also "Psychic Crapping Connection" Oh....oh my I almost forgot about that one. Your phrasing of it is just too perfect!Chris has the weirdest ideas about how to impress women. I guess telling your new sweetheart about how your dad's vanity plate is really all about your autism isn't quite the equivalent of the Psychic Crapping Connection he claimed to have with Jackie, but it's still a weird-ass thing to lay on a woman before the first date.
UN4EVR does not mean that. it can't. It makes no sense. I still believe the troll translation that Bob wanted to say "UN For Ever". From what we know about the guy that seems way more plausible than whatever stupid shit Chris tries to shoehorn into it.
Jesus, Bob probably didn't even believe in Autism. At his age, it would not be a surprise in the least.
I don't see any real evidence Bob cared for the UN one way or another.
Bob: And I'm really world oriented, and my favorite institution is the United Nations.
Emily: [laughs]
Bob: I think they're the answer to everything we got in this world...
[Quote from Emily Date]
Bob dijo:But very few people really, particullary in this country, really understand the makeup of the world. I have been very interested in the world since I was 10 years old, and that was 70 years ago and, the, uh, I'm very fond of and I really truly believe in the United Nations, but you won't find anybody else in my countryside or around here, I think, that does. (laughing) But anyway, I'm very world conscious.

I'm-I'm, uh, since I've retired which has been after 20 years, I guess, I really haven't had much contact with people so long to get to talk about this much. I've tried to teach Christian and whether he's got any comprehension of the world or not, uh, I dunno. He had a tough time with Australia a few months back before he finally got it through his head where Australia was. But I-I love the foreign countries and foreign music 'cause I love music, and I've got maybe 15 to 20,000 long play records of classical music and, uh, some are classical music, jazz and blu-
