The mob votes are not, nor have they ever been, done out of Laziness. They're done for the express purpose of allowing the playerbase to play a part in the game's development.

Like I said earlier: Mojang can easily add all of these mob vote mobs into the game if they wanted to, but they don't because they aren't a part of development of the upcoming update and implementing them would take time away from the main attraction.

Minecraft is one of the most profitable games in history with one of the largest active user bases ever. They could have hired enough people over the years to deal with making a lot of mobs at once, while still making other features just the same, but they haven't.

Sure, Minecraft is split between two actively developed builds that run in entirely different ways, it's multi-platform, and they have other projects, but a lot of that shit is handled by other companies or teams.
 
The best current alternative is MultiMC as it is the original fork that PMC is based. It is fully open source and has most of PMC's features. There are some workarounds for both the CurseForge AND the FTB fuckery, the latter of which I had completely forgotten about. Some of which is detailed below.

The PolyMC dev has stated that he intends to continue developing PMC now that the discord and GitHub project have been purged. He also claims that the source code will stay free from malware.

Okay I haven't ever used poly mc but how exactly is is better than Multimc with all the insane drama?

Added Modrinth support, fixed FTB/CurseForge issues and I personally found it more stable on Manjaro (as MMC did not provide AUR support)

If you squint they are pretty much the same, apart from one icon having 4 sides and the other having 5.

Lenny claims to have GPG keys and to be the real one, so he could have just snapped at having to deal with trannies pressuring him into things. Or he could have had his discord, his github, his GPG and other sites hacked all at the same time. Former seems more likely

Not only that, but they always call themselves the good guys for doing so, even if this is their reaction to someone doing something as miniscule as deleting a useless text file from a repo. This is the equivalent of beating someone up just because they looked at you the wrong way, and it's not something well adjusted adults do.

Hopefully Lenny can get PolyMC donations working again, he's getting $5 from me, maybe $10. There are very few based FOSS devs, and I don't want the tranny fork to win.
