Por favor, hable Inglés

This is a English thread to discuss the current state of mexico and it's ongoing issues with Cartels, Political violence and Femicide .

Poverty is widespread in mexico with over Forty percent of Mexicans living in poverty, large numbers of South American immigrants stress public infrastructure and foreign expats raise the cost of living, Crime is rampant with cartels operating openly and controlling law enforcement within their territory.

Anti cartel militias have attempted to prevent the spread of criminal activity and in the Southern part of the country anarcho-communist guerillas have a de facto Autonomous zone

Última edición:
I highly encourage the creation and cultivation of more (Mexican) cartel related threads.

As much as most commenters be like "sky is blue, no1curr", I really enjoy reading articles and blerbs about the cartels and wish there was a better place for English language discussions on the matter.

I try to cut & paste articles into the CJNG thread, but I feel like that is only one group, and I am relying alot on one source for articles. Maybe there could be a greater discussion and collection of media from all cartel groups, with more people archiving media of all types. I'd like that.

I apologize that I do not feel up to the task of authoring such an OP, but I would certainly contribute and participate.

I like to watch Disturbed Reality on youtube, and sometimes wonder how/where he sources his (cartel realted) gore.

Is there a quick and concise way to redpill normies about how much Sheinbaum is beholden to the cartels? The observation that all the other credible political candidates got asssassinated is not convincing to those with whom I have brought it up. Short/concise is better. Normies won't listen to wall of text in verbal form.

and wetbacks are Mexican!
we're through the looking glass here people

Correct me if I’m mistaken, but isn’t the Narcos only a problem because everyone and their grandmother is in someone reliant or involved with the Cartels? I never bothered following up on it, but a buddy once told me anytime the Mexican Marines get sicced on them, the cartels get their ass handed to them. If so, then it’s clear the only power they have is through corruption, both economically and socially.

Would be interesting if someone with informers, and sources were to actually expose which Mexican officals had who's hand up their ass pulling the strings. Hard data, not just speculation. After what we've seen in CA though it would almost be a death sentence, because the cartels have reach in America as well.

I doubt even Trump would open that international dispute can of worms, unless Mexico is actually stupid enough to try to send troops into the USA, which they proposed, but was just all bark no bite.

Although it would be hilarious if they did.

I heard a guest on Joe Rogan say that the reason you don't hear about Crips and Bloods, etc anymore was because the cartels killed them off and secured the drug trade. Couldn't really find any info on it. If anyone has any I'd be interested in if that was true.

Spics have aztec blood in their veins, it's the reason they are such heartless merciless savages. Mexico should be nuked by the US and rebuilt from scratch. Then hunt down every remaining cartel member.
I remember Josh mentioning this in a MATI episode, and how areas with Spaniards in Mexico are low-crime while the formerly Aztec areas are high-crime.

There is an investigative journalist called Anabel Hernandez who has released several books that detail the level of corruption supporting the cartels. She namedrops countless people from gov officials to police to military. She has to travel with armed bodyguards. If you're interested Narcoland is probably the best start and great education on cartels in general

As far as US influence, the cartels affiliate themselves with countless US gangs. Not just hispanic gangs but bikers, blacks, Russians ... anyone you can think of. These then become distributors of their product. Cartels by nature are huge networks of criminal cells, with different groups handling different operations and all operating with a level of autonomy. This is why they're always struggling with infighting. The Sinaloa Cartel for example is in open civil war with two major factions fighting as a result of a huge betrayal that happened last year
