I wonder how many people just went with the Sean Connery preset head that makes your online guy look like the Metal Gear Big Boss Portrait? I bet it's gonna be like like when John Malkovitch went into the John Malkovitch simulation but with Sean Connery when MGO goes live.

Honestly it depends on the mission. In any mission which requires you to cover ground quickly or intercept something, D-Horse is far more useful, because it's a free vehicle that can be accessed from anywhere.
Otherwise, D-Dog's passive radar abilities are invaluable, yeah.

D-Walker is an excellent buddy for free-roaming with, but it's honestly more trouble than it's worth during base infiltrations. Keeps getting discovered and killed.

D-Walker is mostly used if you want to go Rambo. It saved my ass in some missions like in "traitors caravan" when
the skulls showed up

I read that strat and I found it easier to just use a shoulder launcher and let them group up for an ez win.
I also cheated and planted C4 where the tanks would be stopped at Outpost 12 since I had to restart the mission anyway. I also air-lifted the truck before engaging them so I could just run if it came to that.
