MEMRI TV was created as an Israeli psyop to shift western opinions of Islam but ended up just becoming Muslim Worldstar Hiphop and it is great. Absolutely the single best source of reaction images known to man, and almost certainly responsible for ironically-but-actually-unironically converting a bunch of internet racists to Islam.

Like @Arm Pit Cream said earlier, it's a M*ssad psyop, there's a reason you could see them all over /pol/ for quite a while. However, the meme is evolving and taking its own form, which is something that the M*ssad crabs may or may not be able to control. Much like Matt Furie and Pepe the frog.

I really don't know if this is a Psyop or an maybe an attempt by Mossad to show how much Jewish hate there is in the Arab world.

Psyops's goal would be to subvert a population except there have been 3 wars between Arabs and Jews.

Jews native to Arab lands were kicked out after Israel was created.

And there is legitimate socially accepted talk against the Jews in the Arab world as well as the bigger Muslim world.

Praising Hitler in the Muslim world will not get you cancelled or some gay shit like that.

The target of the psyop is English-speaking western audiences, not Arabs.

The (not at all subtle) goal is shaping perception of Islam and Muslim countries for English speakers by translating carefully selected segments of non-English media, and then pushing it to frame a desired narrative. It's not a coincidence MEMRI TV was established right around when the term "Islamophobia" began seriously gaining traction in western media circles. MEMRI almost exclusively translates either unrepresentative moderate speakers, or ones who are absolutely batshit insane, with effectively no middle ground.

Usually if you just glance over a MEMRI TV post you can immediately guess what narrative they were hoping to advance by selecting that particular item for translation.

Of course, I don't think this plan was particularly successful, since outside of use for reaction images and shitposting MEMRI's work is pretty much unknown to western audiences. Oh well, thanks for the memes Mossad!
