It wasn't until the Farms went offline on Saturday that I realized how much I enjoy the speculation and commentary of this thread, even as I skip over Melinda's word vomit repeatedly.

Since I'm new to the whole reading legal filings thing, is "I Ask For This" a proper way to sign off a filing? From a bystander perspective, it seems hella rude.

Speaking legalese is essentially a dialect of any language it's written in. To Lawyers and the like, it's more straight-forward and less ambiguous than common language. I believe it stems from old english and european court(s), for us Britain specifically, where everything's more of a production.

The saddest part of this is that Null has had the patience of Job with Melinda. This all started with him trying to protect her from a stalker and for his troubles he has had to deal with her shit for years. She has had ample opportunity to avoid the consequences of her abuse of the legal system. Null could have hammered her the last 5 fucking times she sued him. The only reason he is doing it now is because she committed perjury by claiming she did proper service and managed to secure a default from the Clerk of the Court.

You CANNOT ignore that. She is the Dog who caught the car. You can pity the beast for its stupidity. You can feel bad for its puppies and anyone with an emotional attachment to it. But that dog in the end chose to chase the cars, and every time it avoided being turned into road paste did not deter it one moment. And if it was not pasted today, it would just keep chasing cars, and perhaps cause an even worse outcome. Maybe a driver with more compassion then sense would swerve off the road and crash into a tree. The dog would be fine and the innocent driver would be dead.

There should be no moral argument for Melinda here. This is the future she chose.

This case has two things working against a timely ruling. Issue one is its fucking retarded and the judge wants to spend his time on more important matters. Issue 2 is the retarded plaintiff has been providing copious amounts of rope for their hanging and after 5 lawsuits the judge has no pity left and won't stop her from providing more if she wants too.
