I went to some NYE parties with my dorky friends as a teen. Nothing memorable happened at them.
I had one New Years spent in Japan in my 20s and that was very, very cool. Got to visit shrines and drink special New Year's sake. All the bosozoku and drifters were out in force showing off their tricked out machines.
But I usually spend New Years with family. This is the first year I'll be alone since my family are all snowed in.
