Mega Rad Gun Thread

Century reimported the rifle, and stamped their shit into the barrel when they did so.
required by law unfortunately but Century was particularly bad in their method and placement. They did the stipple machine huge bill board on the barrels right?

on my SxS shotguns imported by Simpson the import mark is placed on the underside barrel flat where all the other proof marks and such are placed, and they are very small anyhow. out of sight and mind.

They stamped "C. A. I. Imports" right into the side of the barrel at the end of the stock right before the front sight.

At least its straight.

the CAI import mark on my zastava m88 is right where your fingers sit on the grip and the previous owner used a grinder to assumedly make it not dig into his fingers

gun is basically turn of the 19th century pot metal shit but it's from after the soviet union fell

This is over common chart 16gauge 130gr ffg and 1.5 oz load. Action is flimsy and would Be demolished anyway. Please do not try this by yourself.
To the credit of the action, the breechblock and roller held even if the barrel burst up and through the receiver. I guess this is a good reminder to not exceed BP 12 gauge loadings for a 16 gauge?

[edit] FFS @SaidNoOneEver. So is it a Gumusay or a SAR 38? I'm assuming former because the SAR looks to be a 686 clone.

U.S. News: Turkey's Erdogan Gives NATO Leaders Revolver Conundrum After Summit
After NATO leaders gathered for Wednesday's fractious summit in Ankara, their host, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, handed each an unusual parting ‌gift: a vintage revolver, along with ‌live ammunition indicating it was not just for show.

No idea if it shoots well, but at least it makes a nice display item. Looks like a Colt clone? I can't tell a Python from an Anaconda.

The offices of the Dutch and Swedish prime ministers said their revolvers had been take to their respective embassies in Ankara. The Dutch one was due to be disabled while the Swedish one was awaiting import paperwork.

Based Swedes. The Anglos, on the other hand:

Sir Keir Starmer said he had to have the weapon decommissioned and leave it in Ankara because it could not legally be brought back to the UK on his government aircraft.

That's a good showing for an action that was made in the 1860s. Judging by the metal's condition fatigue may have played a part.

Some of the commenters are lamenting that it was destroyed, but Husqvarna rolling blocks are not valuable at all. for the most part they are shot out trash. Many of them were converted to shotguns after their retirement and were used very hard. at the time they were the cheapest guns in the catalogue. And they are among the oldest rolling block actions on the market being built starting in 1866 and 67.

Husky rollers in their original .50 cal BP or 8x58mmR in good condition can be worth more but those cartridges are fairly hard to make or get brass for so that depresses sale prices.

It's certainly styled after a colt, but who knows what the internals are like. could very well be a S&W under the hood. It might be a good gun. The Turks can do good work but the prices for their well made and finished guns are the same price as european or US guns so whats the point?

H1B gunsmith visas? There really is a shortage of gunsmiths.
Go look for a gunsmithing job, in my area you'd be lucky to make more than a cashier at a grocery store. It would be totally in line with clownworld that h1bs are imported to do it for slave wages because no sane person would accept the work for such shit pay even if they love guns.
