Pretty excited to learn after trying a friend's. Decided 'why not, fuck it' for a gen6 today for my first Glock. Was either gonna be that or the gen3, and people seem to like the new gen well enough. Snagged the OR model (I don't think our store had any MOS, not that I really need that yet).

Anyway, pretty stoked to have one of my own finally since I hear tons of great things about the "porcelain pistol".

As for a Gen 3.... Get a RXM

Just wait, I had 3 of them warrantied and they all failed under 200 rounds. The 3rd one failed like under 80 rounds. No binding, I cut the trigger where you're supposed to, I tripled checked everything and they still break. I've had good luck with the Partisan trigger, some places are doing sales for $250. I've also put about 200 rounds through an ARCfire and its worked fine, I need to run it more though. Those are about $200 right now I think

The beefier Altrius (Copperhead/cornfire) also sound ok as a "let's see" 3 POS Super.

I'm excited. I was a little hesitant to go with 'the latest thing' since there's always that chance the kinks haven't been ironed out, but I feel like I hear nothing but good things about the gen6. Haven't taken it out yet (we just got back yesterday), but man it feels comfy in my hands right out of the case.

I don't know who would be retarded to buy one of these after the TommyBuilt disaster. Almost a dozen business running from the same UO Arms 10,000 sq. ft address.

Tons of dimensional and metallurgical issues with the TB and people are hoping UO fixed it. People have been getting parts over the last couple years from UO and they are still TB stock.

Some of the worst injection molding I've seen on a firearm and I doubt they built new tooling. The molds are either poorly engineered or Tommy was that crunched he said fuck the settings or cycle times.

Yes, the AZ Regulator guy definitely seems to be a bit of an asshole, and also might have some less than stellar QC.



It's unfortunate, because a forced reset device that can use a standard mil-spec style 3 position selector is an attractive option, but if you get one that's wildly out of spec, you might very well be told to eat shit when you expect some customer service.

My G19 is my duty gun, but regardless I think everyone should have a full sized duty pistol and a Safariland lvl 2-3 for if shit gets bad enough and rolling high profile becomes a scenario like Hurricane Katrina.

When I travel to cities that have shit like riots and teen takeovers I take an MP5K and carry it in a bag in the passenger side.

It *can* be a battle belt, but eh. I had a battle belt, but I lost enough weight to where it doesn't fit anymore, so now I just use the duty belt I had when I was doing security guard shit.

Been thinking about getting another one, but I'm middle aged and I'll never need to use it outside of being a larpfag.

I feel crazy, it seems everyone is so eager for an mp7 or clone of one but it just doesnt seem appealing at all compared to an mp5 or an UMP. It just looks meh, and the fact that it's in some rare caliber that'll be like 70 bucks for a box so you can barely shoot it. Like, ok nice gun shaped paper weight I guess?

Its mostly because of muh special forces and vidja games. I personally want one, but the MP7 lacks a point for the civilian market. We will not have access to its AP ammo, I'm somewhat hopeful for an autist to create an FRT for it (much to HKs dismay). In a strictly semi auto configuration I'm not sure it'd be good for home defense, I am not too familiar with its ballistics.

Best deals on ammo I can find on 4.6x30mm on ammoseek is 58¢ a rd but that's with the ass shipping. Decent shipping it's 65¢ bulk and godspeed to whoever the hell is insane enough to be that dedicated to this thing to buy ammo in bulk. Not to mention these are the prices when the clones are still rare. Imagine what it'll shoot up to when HK drops theirs.
