You are probably looking at a "homemade" AMR, same concept the Yemen rebels had. That appears to not be functional, no bolt, helical mag?

they shouldn't be since they were designed for automatic fire in the first place. the mag design is also solid since they are very slightly modded uzi mags. I wager any reliability problems come from the gun and not the mag, or elderly mags with weak springs and/or damaged bodies.

Ball would be the best round for a SMG anyway. combat needs that penetration.

Has anyone shot a 3 barrel break over shotgun and if so what were you thoughts on it? Can only find a lot of contradictory information and my monkey brain thinks they should be excellent for duck hunting what with the 3 shot limit on such things.

I question the reliability of it. Triple barrel guns are complicated things. three hammers, two hammers and a striker, two strikers on hammer, all such designs have been made and its all a spaghetti mess. Plus, the Chiappa has a single trigger. Single trigger shotguns are notoriously unreliable from mid tier and below gun-makers. I avoid single triggers as a rule with few exceptions.

The only tri-barreled guns i consider are from the Germans, Austrians or swiss, who have almost 200 years experience in making these guns. Merkel, Blaser, Krieghoff, The gunmakers in Suhl Germany or Ferlach Austria. These guns are very expensive for a reason. The knowledge and expertise to build them demands high pay. The triple crown on the other hand is a budget shotgun from a budget maker. its not a winning combination.

Plus, just from a shooting standpoint i can't imagine it handles well. If you really need 3 shots just get a pump or a auto.

I just preordered one. I've been trying to track down a Kochevnik for months but I'll settle for one of these. I'm going to use a WUM-1 parts kit with a 7.62x39 Krink barrel + PSA barrel components so the STINC parts fit. While I'm waiting I might design the barrel shroud foregrip combo and have Xometry make one because this kit really isn't safe to use without a suppressor.

I almost got one after seeing it on sale earlier this year,would go good with my 45 can. But was oos until I after lost interest.

On another note , what do you guys think is going to be the best frt sub gun?
Want to get a 9mm frt but not sure what the best platform is going to be, probably going to wait 6 months to let everything come to market.

Always liked the LWRC SMG45 for that UMP style subgun in .45 and I was always bummed they never seemed to get them up to the same reliability level as their AR rifles.

Magazines. I can't stress enough how important I feel it is to have a healthy supply of magazines for all your stuff.

I'd want a subgun in 10mm, personally. I have zero experience with that so no clue how well that even works in most of the common subgun formats but I bet a 9" barreled subgun in 10mm would fuck people up inside of 50 m.

Everything works if it's used correctly. I've found hunting forums that have the general opinion .44 Magnum is an insufficient round for whitetail, others say 6.5 Creedmoor can be used for Elk and don't get me started on Reddit. 10mm is the mainstream semi-auto hunting round but people also hunt with .45 ACP and there's video of deer dropping on the spot from 9x19 handguns.
The caliber wars are a tired concept when arguments are made based upon specific loads in mind and not everyone is using the worst or the best they can.

While there are absolutely stronger loads in magnum revolver cartridges, being able to get a high capacity semi auto in a magnum handgun cartridge is still really nice, and is a big part of why 10mm has seen a resurgence in recent years. Especially because 357 Sig is a dead cartridge, unfortunately. If I ever had to rely on a long gun for any serious purpose, I would never pick a manual action firearm, personally. I see no reason to limit myself to archaic technology unnecessarily, so 10mm auto PCCs are right up my alley.

If you load it with rounds from Underwood, Double Tap, or Buffalo Bore that are loaded to their original hotter specs and not the FBI Light Load specs that most 10mm Auto is loaded to these days, then it wouldn't be bad. The problem is that most manufacturers load to the FBI Light Load specs, which is pretty much just the same as .40 S&W in a longer case. That's the standard that .40 S&W was originally designed around.

As far as a 10mm subgun, you can get the Vector in 10mm, including the extended magazines like .45 and 9mm. And there are several suppressors that will handle 10mm, including the hotter original loads. Plus there's an FRT for the Vector now (still need to get one for mine).

If I could design my own subgun, I'd want something designed to chamber 7.5fk with some kind of recoil mitigation system and a locked breach. I think 7.5fk would make for an excellent SMG cartridge with longer legs than most pistol cartridges.
