Medvedev calls for ‘sinking’ of Great Britain

Dmitry Medvedev, the deputy head of Russia’s Security Council and former president, has suggested ‘sinking Great Britain’ as a way to solve the country’s problems with London.

The former president was responding to a statement made late last month by renowned Russian skiing champion Elena Vyalbe. In an exclusive interview with NEWS.ru outlet, the three-time Olympic champion and head of Russia’s Cross-Country Skiing Federation slammed the West for banning the country’s athletes from most international sports tournaments in response to the Ukraine conflict.

Vyalbe claimed that “if we had dropped a serious bomb in the center of London, it would have all been over by now and we would have been allowed everywhere.”

Medvedev, who has become known for his sharp language in social media posts, argued that there are more effective ways to deal with the problem than bombing.

“Our famous skier Elena Vyalbe suggested dropping a bomb on London. She’s right, of course, but we need to solve the problem radically and just sink the damned island of Anglo-Saxon dogs,” Medvedev said. He did not elaborate on whether ‘the problem’ refers to sports or the state of Russia’s relations with the UK in general.

The UK and its NATO partners have sided with Ukraine in its conflict with Russia, providing Kiev with financial and military aid and placing sanctions on Moscow. London was among 30 nations that urged the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to uphold a ban it had placed on Russian and Belarusian athletes when it proposed allowing them to compete in the Summer Olympics this year.

Most Western-based sports bodies bannedRussia and Belarus from taking part in international sports tournaments shortly after the outbreak of the Ukraine conflict in 2022, including the IOC, FIFA, FIDE, and others. Moscow has repeatedly criticized the restrictions.

In her interview, Vyalbe slammed the IOC, calling it a “trash heap” that is “engaged in who knows what, but certainly not honest sport.”She added that while “sports has always been tied with politics,” the sweeping bans on athletes for political reasons “no longer resemble sport at all.”

This is the revision now? Putin and Medvedev swapped positions for a term while the Russian constitution was altered with to allow him to become president again, but everyone knew who was was calling the shots that whole time. It wasn't Putin's teddybear, that's for sure.
Maybe I have dementia, but I thought I remembered that years ago Putin wanted to have worthy successors, so it wouldn't all be on him. His first two terms were very successful and seemed to have undid alot of the shit that Russia dealt with in the 90s.

Medvedev found the bottom of the bottle and the flunkie didn't have another bottle of industrial alcohol on hand. He was a sort of good cop, a moderate to the hardline Putin or whoever. Now he just sounds off his meds. He also seems to rock a Mao suit which adds to that unmedicated (when he needs to be medicated) impression.

That and all the multi-million pound Mayfair properties now sitting in the name of HM Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs for £0.00
That probably hurts more to them, a corrupt bajillionare can just go make more money, or just wait for it to roll in from fellow plutocrats, but, they can't stand anyone having control of their toys in a way that means they can't get them back.

They wrap a Ferarri around a lamp post? Eh, plenty more where it came from!

The Ferarri gets impounded over parking tickets? OUTRAGE!

I say we dust off and nuke the place from orbit.

It's the only way to be sure.

LMAO
Russia is fending off an invasion from a tiny nation and the humiliations stack up more and more every day. Their failings over the last two years have been pure comedy, it's optimistic that their corrupt, decrepit military could even launch a nuke without it exploding in the silo or falling on Russia.

Dear Russian leadership the British people are already screwed you might as well just sit back and laugh at their anarcho tyranny and embrace your masculine shit.
No need to sink the island it's already a few steps from civil conflict all you gotta do is sit back and watch.
Seriously when it comes to alot of the west all China and Russia has to do is sit back and wait. If they directly try to go against the west in a direct conflict it would be one of the biggest geopolitical fumbles in recent history.

Why would you waste resources and potentially get destroyed when all you have to do is sit back and watch the enemy destroy themselves?

Because russia and china are also against the clock. Neither are in good shape and both have demographic and economic outlooks as bad or worse than the west. There is no alternative bloc, only a general crisis of industrial societies.
