Not too many stores do that kind of cross-promotion much over here, but I guess we've evolved from that. That does sound good.
Britain has a weird deal with the big league Fast Food places as they compete with the huge Fish and Chip shop sector and the late night Kebab shops so they use every weapon in their arsenal. Stagecoach buses give out Burger King and McDonalds vouchers on the back of the bus ticket even through its for a Big Mac on the McDonalds one which is lame. Not too many stores do that kind of cross-promotion much over here, but I guess we've evolved from that.
Doesn't surprise me if the Fish 'n Chip shops still gets 'em in. Sometime like this reminded me of the 1980's when certain stores would do stuff like this. I could just picture B. Dalton's or Waldenbooks doing this.Britain has a weird deal with the big league Fast Food places as they compete with the huge Fish and Chip shop sector and the late night Kebab shops so they use every weapon in their arsenal. I would've loved that had I known! They had 67 cent cheeseburgers here a few days ago. It was a fun day.

In Canada, we don't even have a Dollar menu. McDoubles cost in excess of $2.30. The only things we pay a dollar for are drinks as part of a summer-exclusive program. They always have the McDouble on the dollar menu. Although they've raised the price of the dollar menu to $1.29 lately, realizing nobody gives a shit.
In my neck of the USA there's usually coupon books for local merchants like tire and oil changes. Sometimes they get some decent McDonald's coupons.Doesn't surprise me if the Fish 'n Chip shops still gets 'em in. Getting a Big Mac at a McD's doesn't sound that bad to me (it's their signature burger after all).

Arriva also occasionally do vouchers with those two, along with SubwayBritain has a weird deal with the big league Fast Food places as they compete with the huge Fish and Chip shop sector and the late night Kebab shops so they use every weapon in their arsenal. It's funny because it's true.If I was going to spend that much I'd go to Chipotle and stare at college girl's firm butts.
