McAfee Says This Site Isn't Safe?

I saw this when it was randomly scanning in the background.

I don't know how it would protect anyone from this I am guessing they would block people from the site?

I been to sites actually filled with viruses that lolcow use for some reason and this has never popped up. (Deviantart alone has more mal-ware than Disney has fat single mothers).

McAfee is not a bad anti-virus software, but it is synanmous with bloatware and a bitch to uninstall. Not to mention John McAfee is a nutcase but that's a whole other topic.

At one point, Null supported this website by having an experimental opt-in cryptominer back when that kind of code on a website was still a new thing and its legitimacy among web experts was dubious. Cryptomining code on websites was eventually deemed "potentially harmful" by some software providers which started triggering some false positives on the Farms. I'm assuming either McAfee hasn't updated its database, is unwilling to update its database (because this site is "bad"), or it's returning results from aggregate providers who in turn still have the Farms listed as unsafe.

In any case it's bogus and you're completely safe to whitelist the site in your security software.
