Seriously. All that character description tells me is this lady is so generic and cookie cutter she may as well be invisible.

Well they handed IGN "Pre-release footage" sometime between Feb 20th and 25th for the video's release on the 28th.

Normally you're showing off your final product, not making sure they plaster "PRE RELEASE FOOTAGE" in a watermark when you're a month out from release.

This is not exactly new with Bioware, unfortunately

You'd think they'd learned their lesson with that when they made the main character in DA: Origins look like a soulless husk back in 2009, but I guess that requires effort
 
Right, I've seen enough. I'm not buying this even if someone pays me*.

Critics will probably gush over it like a Tumblrina over Benedict Cumberbatch though because EA will pull their advertising or refuse to send out review copies otherwise.

This is the exact sort of game Amiga Power would have given 73% to because that's the lowest score you can give big name games without being sued.

* oh, if someone was to gift me a key of it I'd be moderately gracious and probably buy them a pint at a later date but I'd only do it out of politeness, not because I was actually grateful.
 
Lets see what we have here.

Large empty zones devoid of life and filled with bullet sponge enemies? ~check
hideous and obnoxious "quirky" comic relief character? ~check
Characters are little more than walking sexual orientations? ~check
Scanning/harvesting to artificially increase playtime? ~check
Armor for both men and women is the same ugly bulky mess to avoid triggering dangerhairs? ~check
Poorly thought out and microtransaction filled multiplayer mode? ~ check

Dragon Age Inquisition in space confirmed.
