It was Laurence Fishburn, wasn't it?

I miss the old days of superhero movies. Back in the 90s and early 00s everything was self-contained or might have a sequel or two, but everything wasn't designed as a big-budget generic tv soap opera that never ends. It was fun speculating if there was going to be another Batman, then who would play him and the villains. Nowadays the cast is already signed on to seven films before they even announce it.

Iron-Man 2 is absolutely the worst movie in the MCU even if it's not as shitty as Black Panther, which literally gave terminal ass cancer to a guy it was so fucking bad. Audiences hadn't yet been conditioned to sit through ten minutes of credits to see a thirty-second snippet at the end of a movie, so if you hadn't seen Sam Jackson at the end of Iron-Man you'd have no idea who he was when he shows up in the second half of the sequel with no introduction and just starts ordering people around. God I hate Marvel so much. The MCU is like the iphone of movies.

It's that time again.

James Gunn on Martin Scorsese’s criticism of superhero movies: “Coming out against Marvel is the only thing that would get him press for his movie. He’s creating his movie in the shadow of Marvel, he uses that to get attention for something he wasn’t getting much attention for.”

Gunn tries to temper it but it still comes off as whiny bullshit.

Let it go, people, Scorsese hasn't even said anything about Marvel Movies in a while but he's been living rent-free in the heads of people who aspire to write superhero movies with Whedonian dialogue where characters say things like "totes amazeballs".
Seriously Gunn how old are you? You shouldn't be acting like this

To be fair, it isn't like James Gunn just randomly started sperging about it on Twitter, he was asked about it in an interview. Plus after all the controversy around him, being fired and then re-hired, he probably feels like he has to fellate the mouse.

Ultimately, though he agrees with some of what Scorsese said, Gunn admits to the comments being “irritating” because the filmmaker has yet to see any of the “Guardians of the Galaxy” films and can’t really speak to them.
The best part is that he thinks the GotG films might change his mind.

GotG2 is literally the worst film in the MCU. A vomit of grotesque CGI with no artistic merit.

In my case I kinda enjoyed Black Panther and Thor 2, But GotG2 felt like that one guy who thinks he's really funny but isn't yet keeps making retarded jokes constantly
I'm kind of onboard with you now, though back then I thought the Adam Warlock setup would go somewhere. That said, Black Panther was equally unnecessary and less technically adept, with the final showdown between T'Challa and Killmonger looking like a video game cutscene from the Xbox era. Thor 2 is probably better than I like to give it credit for, because holy fuck it still chaps my ass how badly they wasted Christopher Eccleston.

They probably cut Adam Warlock from Infinity War and Endgame to have Captain Marvel in the movie instead.

Christopher Eccleston was also wasted in G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra.

If Adam was set up, he's going to appear, Feige wants people hyped for what's coming. Unfortunately for you, he's going to show up in Guardians 3 first, and that's another year and a half away.

So check this out, I was on twitter and found this:

I can't tell if this is legit or some photoshop hoax. In the first pic it looks like there's a dark edge around the actors and the table and some of Florence Pugh's hair was erased, though if they're creating an entire background in CGI it's not farfetched to assume they could make her hair messier too.

What's sad is not only could I see Marvel actually legitimately doing this, but there are already a ton of people defending it.

I'm not shocked, but that beer bottle in the before picture looks awfully weird.

It's believable, if only because of what poor Gandalf endured during The Hobbit. I still feel so bad about that, lmao
Pretty sure that was due to shooting in 3d rather than laziness, the LotR movie uses a number of tricks to get Hobbits to look as smaller as they were when next to normal people, those tricks just wouldn't work in 3d.

Forgive the low-quality photo but gives you the idea

Marvel movies are in 3d still (post conventions I believe) but nothing they do would explain the need for the amount of green or the poor quality of it all.

Not shocking news, as the guy who made KGbeats said he was paid more for him being in Batman Vs Superman (did you even know KGbeast was in that movie?) than Thanos, Gamora, Drax and likely Shang-Chi once that movie comes out. But I thought it would be more than 5k
