I'd probably give it an 8 overall, but he brings up some good points.

Those retards been arguing for that even before Thomas Robert Malthus put the idea to paper. Thanos just popularized it for the current tard generation.Agreed, its somewhat worrying when I see retards on the internet arguing about why "Thanos is right". A guy I went to high school with once argued on Facebook that "Thanos was mostly right" but this guy wanted to take it a step further as he said that instead of killing 50% of the population randomly, we should instead kill people who don't meet certain criteria like having an I.Q. lower than 110, NEETs, religious people, it was a long ass list of criteria, ironically he himself did not meet his own criteria for surviving.
Personally, I think it’s more prudent to destroy all intelligent life. Thanos’ plan is fucking retarded because it doesn’t actually do anything to achieve his stated goals.Agreed, its somewhat worrying when I see retards on the internet arguing about why "Thanos is right". You went to high school with Movie Bob?Agreed, its somewhat worrying when I see retards on the internet arguing about why "Thanos is right". So Zamasu from Dragon Ball Super?Personally, I think it’s more prudent to destroy all intelligent life. Thanos’ plan is fucking retarded because it doesn’t actually do anything to achieve his stated goals.
This new version of Thanos would be a death seeker who, by virtue of his strength and his will, sees it as his divine mandate to kill everyone, including himself, to attain his perfect vision of a world with no intelligent life destroying nature and hogging all the resources.
I agree I don't know why they felt the need to give Thanos a "complex motivation"In this way, you can have the same result, except Thanos’ plan is merely insane and psychotic, instead of being insane, psychotic, and also stupid.
No, but my former classmate does resemble him in a lot of ways, maybe he is moviebob's long lost bastard son or clone or somethingYou went to high school with Movie Bob?
A movie where the villain essentially wants to fuck a lady grim reaper wasn't going to work.I respect the amount of effort to make someone like Thanos popular but Disney went over the edge. It works in comics since it's Death itself that wants half of all living things gone and there aren't any idiots agreeing with that because it's the motivation of an entity beyond our own comprehension. Thanos wants to be an equal to Death so he does it's biding and anything he can to be considered Death. There aren't any silly discussions here because the funny books knew these weren't individuals you should feel sympathy for.
Its a motivation every divorced guy can relate to.A movie where the villain essentially wants to fuck a lady grim reaper wasn't going to work.
Death actually articulated that concept? I haven't read Infinity Anything since... well, since it was new, but I was under the impression that it was more "Thanos wanted to impress Death and assumed killing fucktons of everything would get her wet" it doesn'tIt works in comics since it's Death itself that wants half of all living things gone
As a motivation it was quite comic-bookey and cheesy, but it has a simple airtight consistency to it. Cinematic Thanos as super-simp would just have been a hilarious idea.A movie where the villain essentially wants to fuck a lady grim reaper wasn't going to work.
Josh Brolin would sell it with the gravitas it deserved. As a motivation it was quite comic-bookey and cheesy, but it has a simple airtight consistency to it. Cinematic Thanos as super-simp would just have been a hilarious idea.
"Um, I offered you the universe and I can't even get a hello?"

the talking tree became super popular and we're about to get a movie that's nothing but LGBT gods. I think they could have found a way.A movie where the villain essentially wants to fuck a lady grim reaper wasn't going to work.
It would work if you develop lady grim reaper properly. It wouldn't be the first tale of a man losing his head over pussy and getting people killed for it.A movie where the villain essentially wants to fuck a lady grim reaper wasn't going to work.
I mean you could have the hero be some religeous zealot obsessed with the goddess of the dead. And have a midpoint/endpoint reveal that she actually exists and doesn't approve of the villain paying to win her favour to set up the next film. Will be far better than the shitty fight scene in the end of Endgame.A movie where the villain essentially wants to fuck a lady grim reaper wasn't going to work.

Don't forget The Thanos Quest, that shit's great.I forgot quite how "I committed genocide for you, pls show bobs and vagene" Thanos was in the original story. Might have to read that again.
Brian Puildo and Steven Hughes would beg to differ when they created Evil Ernie and Lady Death which Ernie was a regular mass homicidal psychopath before his transformation. Plus Lady Death greatly appreciated his efforts to kill every living thing on Earth. Unlike Marvel who's too chicken to keep the dead in the ground; everything Evil Ernie and his zombie minions killed stay dead at the end.I mean you could have the hero be some religeous zealot obsessed with the goddess of the dead.
