Finale of Falcon&WS was good, some corny speeches aside. I think I liked the series more overall than Wandavision.
I thought it was good but the quality of the story was brought down by that horrible female villain character Karly or whatever her name is. They tried so hard to make her sympathetic while showing her endlessly attacking and blowing people up. It was hard to even understand what her motivation was. She was also supposed to be a teenage girl yet knows martial arts, has started a terrorist organization with apparently millions of followers and can just casually cross continents while being enemy number one of the most powerful governments on earth.

I agree with that. I'm also glad that Walker made it out in the end with some dignity intact since he's an entertaining character

I agree 100%. Though tbh I found her so bad it dragged everything else down.

Walker's redemption was cool, and the action was engaging, so it did well in that regard. But the second half was awfully dragged out and really preachy and didn't really make much sense. The way they tried to make Karli's death tragic was ridiculous and unwarranted.

I did like the resolution to Bucky's subplot of the Asian Man's son who he killed though, that was done very well...Don't care for the Thunderbolt's teasing though at all.

Overall, that's Strike 2. If Loki disappoints I'm done.

It's depressing what happened to Thor. He had probably one of the best arcs despite the second movie, only to get the deconstruction shaft in Endgame and is now being prepped to return to square one. It'd be funny if it weren't tragic.
Hemsworth didn't like playing Thor as-is and straight up demanded more comedy and shit in his Thor films, especially after Thor 2 underperformed severely.

Disney obliged, in part because ScarJo, Evans, and RDJ all made it clear they were eventually were eventually going to bail on the Avengers franchise once the main arc ended. They want to keep at least one big name (Ruffalo and Renner aren't big names) Avengers so they started turning Thor into a joke character and his films comedies.

I'm just hoping we get a legit MCU flop soon. These films are high risk and high reward, so it only takes one or two flops to kill the franchise.

Eternals is going to be this. Black Widow and Shang Chi will do so-so but Eternals is going to be the one where the SJW death kult kool aid is in full swing and if it flops, then Disney and the MCU will be in big trouble if it flops.

Liked it. Dropped the ball not having the endtag be "Captain America and White Wolf", though, since his entire arc is that he's not Winter Solider anymore and that black people fucking love him. Isiah stuff was good, the "Governments should be better already!" shit was corny as fuck. Not enough to ruin it. Big Dick Zemo for the save.

It's literally just the same shit they did with Kilmonger. The "sympathetic but not really" villain is their new gimmick like the "big enemy is just the mean version of the main character" shit from before. It'll get dropped soon enough.

did they throw Skip into that big crossover with the dimensional vampire assholes who killed Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends and Hostess Spider-Man
No, because Dan Slott came up with Spider-Verse as the ultimate "fuck you" to Spider-Man fans who were disgusted at the whole Superior Spider-Man saga (which was supposed to be the new permanent status quo, until ironically Slott pitched Spider-Verse and editorial told him "you can only do the story IF it's the real Peter Parker in it not motherfucking Dr Octopus wearing Peter's body as a skinsuit and by the way, restore Peter Parker NOW so we can get started on this idea"). It was going to be the ultimate fuck you for Slott, by having Otto not only fool an entire multiversal army of Peter Parkers and get them to suck his stolen dick by telling him he was the "superior" Spider-Man, but that he was going to have May Parker, Spider-Girl, lead the "You are truly the Superior Spider-Man "Peter!" shilling.

Bonus points, when the story saw print, Slott passive aggressively killed off May's dad (and then killed Tom DeFalco's attempt to retcon the May from Spider-Verse as being not the real May but some divergent reality that wasn't the original Spider-Girl comic) and when he still demanded Otto be part of the story, editorial only allowed it if A. Peter immediately outed Otto as a usurper and B. That Peter got to beat Otto's ass and gloat about how Otto will eventually lose control over his stolen body when Otto ended up the last minute big bad, trying to wipe out the multiverse due to him not wanting to be sent back in time to ultimately get his butt-kicked by Green Goblin, that Otto ragequit restores Peter to his body so that he's stuck having to clean up Otto's messes.

Ragnarok was like the Batman & Robin for Marvel, even worse since at least one portrayed the Silver Age with some respect. With Ragnarok I felt Taikiki or Raikiki didn't truly respect the medium of comicbooks so he made fun of everything and made everything a joke, so much so that when the serious scenes happened people didn't know if they should take them seriously or laugh. Actors just want to be themselves than actually act like the characters from the books and that may bite Marvel Studios in the ass someday they need to recast.

As some have already said, one flop and it's over but the idea of these films being amazing and flawless is very very deep into the audiences head and asshole so I doubt they are going away anytime soon. I like capeshit but their place belong in comicbooks, they are at their best there and it's annoying to have so many capeshit in not only movies but television and streaming now. Something similar happened during WWII, there was superhero craze, characters were everywhere but when that ended it almost killed the entire genre.

I liked Ragnarok, but it's hard to watch more than once since it's so campy that the plot feels like nothing. I like campiness, but you have to do it in moderation with world-ending scenarios y'know? I hope Love and Thunder balances it better.

When did this happen? And as a side note, fuck Slott for bringing in May just to shit on her character. God forbid you actually bother to research a character when you write them. Just go ahead and have Spider-Man’s daughter be willing to murder someone. It’s not like one of the issues of Spider-Girl had her placed in a machine that made her experience her worse fears, including the deaths of her parents and friends, and still refuse to kill the one responsible.

In one of the back-up stories in the issues leading up to Spider-Verse.

Sorry for the double post, new news and all that. Captain America 4 has been announced, showrunner for Falcon&WS is directing. https://twitter.com/DiscussingFilm/status/1385693901495865344
That's such a fucking terrible design, it's like something Liefeld would come up with.

Disney isn't going to have a flop because they'll at worst pull a Warcraft of "oh actually the film got billion dollars at the Chinese market and we've already greenlighted a sequel, which we'll scrap once the investors forget about it".

Edit: just to be clear it will still be a flop, they'll just make up numbers to disguise that.

That was supposed to be a teenager? I never got the memo. I could not feel anything for her. I thought it was the freckles. I could not get why Sam was all horrified by Walker killing one guy, but this chick kept killing people left and right and Sam seemed to want to "save" her and probably make her an Avenger later. Bucky probably killed hundreds of people but that's OK, Walker has one "oh shit" and we gotta throw him right out.
