The jail break was pretty silly overall. I guess this took place in one of those movie jails with no cameras or locking doors. Even the most jank county jail I've been to have three locked doors between the infirmary and the outside. So you're telling me that when Bullseye is waiting to leave the infirmary, no one in Sgt. Command looks at the monitor and wonders, "hey, where did the prisoner, doctor and familiar CO go? and who is this new CO who wants to leave the infirmary" before unlocking the fucking door. Gimme a fucking break.

It's the worst part of a good episode, but when that blue tint descended I found myself not caring much about the contrivance.
 
Bothers me that it's "Bullseye is trying to kill Fisk during a high-society event and Matt has to stop it" just like in season 3.

Played out different of course but still too close, surely they could have come up with a different concept for the season's climax.

A lot of Born Again feels like a retread of S3. You've got Matt losing faith, giving up one side of his identity, and Fisk trying to convince the public that he's a good guy who was set-up by those pesky masked vigilantes.

Season 3 was THE Born Again season but they made a way worse version of it anyway.

I just realized that Matt pulled "I know it was you Fredo" on Vanessa
I wonder if they will mention about the girl who Bullseye stalked. Normally he would do the Kingpin hit for her but I am not sure if the series will acknowledge it without a flashback.

It was closer to the actual comic story but still pretty far away from it. The comic story is almost entirely about Kingpin finally learning Matt's identity via the now crack whore ex-porn star Karen Page, then using that information to systematically destroy Matt's life and drive him into the ground. S3 was largely about Matt building himself up after Elektra's death at the end of Defenders (and recovering from having a building fall on top of him).

I've always thought the best way to adapt Born Again would've been to have the first half of the season be a straight adaption of it and then the second half be an adaption of Last Rites by Chichester (maybe with a bit of Typhoid's Kiss by Nocenti mixed in).
 
Actors saying shit about their characters happens because they don't think they're serious enough to deserve some research. They think they're childish and for kids, and they want to make them serious on their own. They don't care that many of them have decades of characterization and development that any actor should be dying to portray.

I think it was worse that they decided to focus all their victim complex against humans. At some point, Magneto proclaimed himself and the others our new gods, proving well that Wanda was right when she realised no matter what, his father was and always will be an asshole.

Granted, there was some magic shit in Otherworld where Shogo turned into a dragon for a while but still. He shouldn't be a baby still in general, much less after the SOLID 3 TIMELINE OF 3 YEARS.

It doesn't matter because none of them matters. It matters that they mutants talk politics, dress up well, and fuck. This era was for women. Gooner women and fags. That's all it's been.

Now everyone of them is an asshole. The woke writers wrote the characters as self-inserts and the end result is assholes. The X-men were once heroes. They are now the new Hellfire Club.

For those who haven't read (and nobody did or should), Krakoa was an era of the X-men when they had again their own country, island, whatever. At some point, there was an "order" for the mutants to procreate... You think any of the big names got married and had babies? Nah. It was a complete disaster with the babies that were born being abandoned by their parents and the rest of the mutant just fucking.

Contrast that with how they talked in the 90s runs about having lives and plans for the future.

Current writers and readers they target this to don't want the characters to grow up, they want them to live the adolescence lives they couldn't have.

Krakoa is the shittiest thing to happen to the X Men since Grant Morrison (outside of weapon Plus) and I'll never not enjoy the CBR articles bitching about ending it was a bad thing.

Fuck Krakoa and all the nigger tier made up mutants they introduced in Arakao or whatever. This dudes power is he never loses! Ok one that's stupid and two you're a faggot.

Fuck the Krakoan era. Biggest pile of dog shit from Marvel ahead of the clone saga, heroes reborn or whatever else you can think of.

I'm on break at work so only have a second and can't format and archive his tweets but some are in this article. he was crazy, and a black fag pervert, but this guy is constantly saying what fans of actual marvel comics are about all of this shit. I think he's the only actual marvel comic book fan that's worked for Disney/MCU in at least a decade.

I heard that Beast was turned into a very evil scientist.

However they running three main comic lines now with three different Xmen groups post the fall of mutie Israel, wait I mean Genosha 2.0 I guess.

Group 1 is Cyclops and Magneto and Magik.


Group 2 is Gambit and Rogue and Wolverine.


Group 3 is Emma Frost, Kitty Pride and Iceman.
