Marvel Cinematic Universe

Perlmutter wouldn't have let The Marvels happen or Black Widow because he correctly knew people don't watch women led action films.

so at minimum the MCU would be about a billion dollars richer.
I disagree with Perlmutter's reasoning though, although he happens to be right in this case. If these ladies had Classic Marvel Way physiques i.e. extremely muscled, Olympian bodies with nice titties in painted spandex, that would attract the adult male otaku demographic, which is the primary demo for these kinds of movies. But because their costume designs and bodies are blandly boring, then he is right that kids wouldn't buy toys.

I don't know what for the ages of 18 month to 12 year old "toys" the older marvel otaku demographic would genuinely buy. Unless they have children of their own and/or have nieces, nephews, younger cousins and/or their older cousins' kids to get the toys and/or other age appropriate stuff for them.

I mean high quality McFarlane-tier statues that can be charged at $50+ per unit.

I'm hearing that nobody is actually watching Daredevil: Born Again?

I pirated it. It's okay, but I like Daredevil and it's been so long since I watched the original series that I'm probably missing a bunch of shit they messed up.
That’s what I’ve been hearing as well. At this point it’s obvious that Disneys destroyed all interest the normies had with these franchises. The only people they have still watching in mass are the reviewers and shills, the rest are either pirating it or just don’t even care. Hell i didn’t hate the first few episodes of that last Star Wars show but I just didn’t keep watching and according to ratings that’s what most other people did.

Unless the next few mainline MCU movies are actually really good and start making money again you can officially put a fork in Marvel because it’s done.

I think the reason people watched Agatha more is bc it's targeted to women and women relate more to "Disney" products. Men stopped trusted Disney after all Star War shenanigans and can you blame them?

So far seems to have good reviews and favorable criticism. But I have no idea who's watching.
me and the niggas from the block, that's who. although I'm waiting for at least one more episode and I'm just pirating it. what's kinda sad and pathetic is for a lot of people, myself included this is the one thing mcu we were open to, and are giving them their last chance on. However, I pirate everything so I'm an exception (outside of a movie theater or a 4k disc I haven't paid to watch a movie or TV show since I was like 12) but people with my view on it have been burnt by every Disney project for years now, and aren't paying even if they're watching it. It's too late. If it sticks the landing maybe people will subscribe for s2 I guess.

New episode was decent, though I can see why Marvel fired the original creative staff and changed direction after six episodes. An entire season of this sort of stuff wouldn't have been popular.

The comic ending for the White Tiger trial is that Hector gets found guilty, then after the verdict comes in he tries to run and gets shot dead on the courthouse steps. He still ends up dead here, though I wonder if they added that in after the actor died.
Really not looking forward to the inevitable "See, Punisher, you inspire GUN VIOLENCE! You must change your ways!" bullshit morality lesson they seem to be setting up here. All Frank would have to do is point out that all the rogue cops are adults who made their own choices, he didn't make them do shit.
