I liked the movie overall, it had some good emotional moments and did a somewhat better job at maintaining drama than the other MCU movies (though it's still an MCU movie so it still has ill-timed comedy). That said, some of the details kinda fall apart when you think too long, like how Ock and Sandman recognize Norman as the Green Goblin, even though in the Raimi trilogy the only people who knew that were Spider-Man and Harry. Or how the movie blatantly glosses over the fact neither Sandman nor the Lizard died. It was fun overall, and I appreciate the fanservice, but part of me also wishes it wasn't confined within the MCU formula.
