I like what I've seen so far The ending although sad reeks of "lets have everyone forget him so we can do an origin story again"

Let's be honest, if they end up doing a Spiderman origin story in the MCU (outside of that tv show) it will be for Miles.I like what I've seen so far The ending although sad reeks of "lets have everyone forget him so we can do an origin story again"
On second thought "origin story" was not what I meant, I meant they just want to keep Spiderman forever as the rookie hero who is still learning the ropes. Agreed with what you said, they will most likely introduce Miles soonLet's be honest, if they end up doing a Spiderman origin story in the MCU (outside of that tv show) it will be for Miles.
I thought it was the first true spiderman ending to the MCU spidey movies. Nigga finally, after 5 movies of being Iron Boy receiving Iron checks, learns about responsability, consequence and self sacrifice. Im guessing someone at Marvel/Sony heard all the complaints made about Holland spider and decided it was about time to make him more like the comics. Didnt think the movie was all that great, but it felt more like a Spidey movie this time around with very little MCU adjacent stuff besides Strange. Him being alone, with no money living in a shitty appartment makes him feel closer to Spider Tobey, which is a plus in my book. Cant wait for them to run it back super hard on the next one.Having literally no one remember Peter/Spiderman at all seems like a really depressing ending, not gonna lie.

But if everybody forgets about him, then he wouldn't have to learn or deal with any consequences.I thought it was the first true spiderman ending to the MCU spidey movies. He does, because now no one even remembers Peter Parker existed. The dude's got no friends, no gf, no Avengers connection. But if everybody forgets about him, then he wouldn't have to learn or deal with any consequences.
Dunno, man. Consider all shit superheros go through, I'd think this is a good deal for him.He does, because now no one even remembers Peter Parker existed. The dude's got no friends, no gf, no Avengers connection.
ah, see the thing is you are not supposed to ask these questions goy, just consoom and get excited for Dr. Strange 2.Just got back from seeing No Way HomeI thought the whole thing was a big giant retcon. Now no one remembers Him, at all. Now they can do the same stories they been doing. Have MJ fall back in love with Him, everything. I felt it was like a DM at a TTRPG say "ok, the last 3 sessions didn't happen. Restarting the campaign, again. "
Also, no one remembers Him. Don't Ned and MJ have pics and texts on their phones? Wouldn't they be asking who that person is? Plus all the physical records of Spidey. Aunt May dies. But Aunt May would have had some kind of insurance or will for Peter. No way he'd be hard up for money and have to go live in a crappy apartment.
This sentence alone probably caused "a great disturbance in the force" for thousands of redditorsI'll be in the minority (I am a black Republican after all)

It's a mixed bag imo, despite being filled with cameos and crap there was alot more emotanal pathos in this film than anything post endgame or hell even in the previous watts outings, Defoe is probably the best MCU villain ironically enough now, but I guess the problem is now you can't really have a green goblin or any of the other guys without peter going "Oh Fuck that" and bouncing.I'll be in the minority (I am a black Republican after all), but I really liked it. If Endgame was the end of an era, then this movie felt like closure. Here's one last great MCU movie before we fuck it all up.
Yeah overcorrection is the right word for it, I don't really think there would be a massive problem with him being "Iron Boy Jr." if they went with the theory that since ben died peter has been unable to look back at whatever happened to MCU ben and is perpetually looking for a father figure. The ending seems like it’s appealing to everyone who complained about this Spiderman “having it easier” since he had Iron Man mentoring him and everything, helping him with money and whatnot. Though it kinda feels like they overcorrected.
