Yrah I thought the entire idea behind the entire live action multiverse plans were dumb as fuck, but it seems to have excited a shitload of people who talked about how done with capeshit they were post Endgame, so I figured what did I know.
I mean, it already has a deal with the devil kind of premise. Even though, as Critical Drinker pointed out, why would a hero in Endgame be hated?
Spider-Man is hated because of the doctored footage making it look like he murdered Mysterio in Far From Home .
For me while the clone saga was indeed a clusterfuck it didn't break the camel's back. The shit Marvel was also doing to Venom, the X-Men and other titles in addition to fucking over Spider-Man and my realization nothing is ever going to get better were the straws that broke the camel's back for me.
Critical Drinker is often a dumbass sometimes since it's explained why Spider-Man is hated which is because of how he murdered Mysterio who for all the public knew was a hero since none of Mysterio's shit was exposed.
Aw be fair, it wasn't like the JJJ stinger at the end of the movie was like some enormously well known and beloved plot twist that had everyone going crazy about what direction they were taking the character and story in.
