TBH, I still believe that James Gunn is a total fucking pedo, one of the most evil people still important to the MCU in fact, and yet he eventually got a pass. my favorite part about this whole story is that literally no one on 4chan (including us) were bothered enough by his trolling to try fucking with him. this fucker linked his reddit account which he already doxxed himself in and apparently used the signing money from being cast in this marvel crap to make this porno. if you read the archives of his account, he blatantly states who he is in 2016, and despite being on the Canadian equivalent to ABC/CBS/NBC/Fox in a lead role in a sitcom for 5 years, not a single one of us recognized this guy nor were inquisitive enough about him to investigate this story further.

They were blowing smoke up everyone's buttholes including their own if they thought it was going to surpass The Nigger King.

This movie came out of nowhere - no in-universe buildup, no mythology or threads being laid down in anticipation, it just happened. Black Panther had its character showcased already in Civil War alongside all the main stars and with an apolitical setting. Even though we live in Clown World, I doubt Black Panther would have been nearly as profitable had that cameo never occurred prior, since it showed off his capabilities and a simple, identifiable premise of avenging his dead father.

If anyone really believed Shang-Chi was going to surpass it, they were banking on the large Asian population filling in the numbers, without realising that Asians aren't really chomping at the bit to be duped like black and feminist audiences by virtue signalling. They are already successful within their varied communities and have both a diverse and proud history that woke culture can't "enhance" for their benefit.

I think that The Eternals is going to get mild promotion. Aside from Twitter, pretty much nobody cares. I anticipate The Eternals to be just a fart in the wind.

Spider-Man is guaranteed to get promo out the wazoo though ... But that is probably more Sony's task than it is Disney's?

I bet that Doctor Strange and The Multiverse of Madness will get pretty good promo. Doctor Strange is one of the "Classic MCU Avengers" left, and WandaVision was probably the MCU's most successful project this year. I still see people and normies reference WandaVision. I can easily see Marvel riding on that show's wave with Scarlet Witch being in the film.
