VOIP has been in since launch, being toxic as fuck when you go for a killing blow or immediately talking shit when you know a runner team is nearby is in full effect.

Yes. They had a very strange vision for the game that was essentially a no fun allowed esport, a lot of it still remains.

To be very very fair to Bungie the no prox chat was during their early alphas. Testers told them prox chat was a necessity so they made sure to add it by the time the later betas happened.

Solo queu was also in the betas but like in Hunt Showdown, Arc Raiders or even Tarkov it's not a true solo q. You can still be matched against teams.

They should have taken a note from hunt where you can opt in to fighting trios though if you choose to. Marathon can force you to fight duos or trios if it wants to.

Though it is skewed to match you with other solos.

I think it might of been rook or solo, but i'm pretty sure one of them was also added later due to popular request. Atleast Duos got added that way.

If you could solo Q in this game with an actual load it would be brutal. Rooks can already get the jump on kitted teams and take them down, but a lone runner with purple and gold gear could have an absolute field day. This was always my favorite way to play tarkov, friends are such a massive debuff in that game.

Duo/Trio is the sweet spot for Tarkov

Trios is just barely too much. Anything more than two people or three people who aren't in constant communication cause issues with target recognition and noise

theres a humble bundle deal where you can get a bunch of content for destiny 2 for almost thirty dollars, but thats not why i bring it up. it has a 20% off coupon for marathon. combine this with the 20% off deal for steam, and thats a 40% discount (i think). combine the two and thats 24 dollars for the game. granted, some of that is offset with the humble deal since youre also getting destiny 2 content, but still

It looks like it's a 25% off coupon for Humble Bundle's store (not steam). You have to buy $30 worth of D2 content to get it and Humble Bundle isn't offering a 20% off deal and discounts don't stack anyways. So it's not 40% off.
