A man prevented from being deported by passengers who staged a protest until he was taken off their flight from Heathrow had reportedly been convicted of rape.

Home Office officials were forced to abandon the deportation attempt and remove Yaqub Ahmed from the Turkish Airlines flight as it prepared to fly to Istanbul on Tuesday afternoon.

According to the Mail on Sunday, the man being escorted from the plane was Somalian man Yaqub Ahmed who was being deported because he was a convicted gang rapist.

Video released last week showed protesting passengers shouting ‘take him off the plane’ as the man screamed he had been separated from his family.

As the 29-year-old man was eventually taken off the flight, he was seen thanking those on board for their support as they cheered and applauded.

The passengers were unaware the man they were defending had been sentenced to nine years in jail for his part in the gang rape of a teenage girl at a flat in North London, the Mail on Sunday reports.

He was also allegedly part of a gang that included another member who later fought for Islamic State in Syria.

Ahmed and three others attacked the 16-year-old girl after she became separated from her friends during a night out in London’s Leicester Square, in August 2007.

He and his accomplices were caught when neighbours heard the girl’s screams and called police.

All four men denied rape, despite the existence of DNA evidence and they were found guilty at Wood Green crown court and each jailed for nine years.

Ahmed was reportedly released from prison after serving just over four years. He is now said to be in an immigration detention cente while officials try to place him on another flight out of the UK.

The Victims’ Rights Campaign said: ‘This deportation was clearly in the public interest.

‘Sitting deportees in the general passenger area of a plane is wrong and leads to this kind of ill-informed protest.’

A Home Office spokesman said: ‘All foreign nationals who are given a custodial sentence will be considered for removal.

‘Those who abuse our hospitality by committing crimes in the UK should be in no doubt of our determination to deport them and we have removed more than 43,000 foreign offenders since 2010.

If I was in charge of the foreign office I would have found a way to get a list of the passengers on that flight and mailed them a letter saying "Oh by the way, you allowed a convicted rapist to stay in your community, Good job you got played".

I bet those people are smugly patting them selves on the back thinking they "did a good job".

It’s almost as if there are real and lawful reasons for a sovereign nation to declare that a person is unfit to remain within its borders.

But to hell with all that, this rapist not getting to live wherever he wanted hurt the feelings of some 20-something liberal college student I guess. I wonder how hurt his victims feels knowing he’s still hanging around?

Is it really that hard to put these animals on their own plane out of these countries so they don't have the chance to be saved at the minute by a bunch of low-info, hyperaltruistic virtue signallers like the retards that keep pulling shit like this?

At least they should get blacklisted and not allowed to fly Turkish Airlines and associated airlines. If joking about having a bomb in your luggage gets you on a black list then helping a rapist by preventing the plane to take off should too.

Yeah, this is what I don't get. You don't turn off your ipad fast enough and the federal marshalls are dragging you out of the airplane. Block the entire fucking plane from taking off until they take someone off the flight, yeah that's fine.

Everyone that protested should be subject to heightened scrutiny whenever they try to fly from now on. You're not a jury, you smug faggots. I hope at least some of them are ashamed. If not them, certainly some of the quieter passengers are not thrilled about their plane being held up to protect a gang rapist.

This raises an interesting question. When should an airline be transparent about a violent criminal being on a flight? You'd think the dude being in restraints and an armed guard/air marshal sitting with him would be enough of a flag that this dude probably did some heinous shit.

The pilot should inform the passengers of why the dusky fellow screaming about being separated from his family is on the plane at the start of the flight, and authorise a free drink for everyone, so they may throw the empties at the cunt.

Última edición:
These people have violated the age-old public transport rule of 'don't make a fuss and avoid eye contact with anybody weird who gets on' and as such it is my right to exile them from civilised society

Oh boy. Sounds like one guy heard, "They separated me from my family.."

Immediately started a riot and didn't even care why the man was being deported in the first place. Just blind faith in that whatever this man did wasn't any reason to deport him...

Fucking Brits are hella cucked already.
