Male v. Female Meanness?

Everyone is mean sometimes, at some point.

Yet am I right in thinking mean and women are mean in different ways?

I don't mean to offend the female members of this forum ( and I don't necessarily hold this view) but I have heard many people say ( women included) that women can often be meaner than men are? Like in terms of gossip or holding grudges or things of that nature........ Again I don't know for sure, but I have noticed that my mother and her sisters seem to have way more grudges and drama with eachother than my dad and his brothers.

Is there anything to this thought? Is it just misperception/ bigotry by society? Can anyone shed a bit of light?
 
Girls can be mean, but like everything else men are just better at it. :tomgirl:

Contrary to what popular belief holds from my experience men will gossip, spread rumors and bitch about people and women will say abrasive things and use physical violence. Both are as animal as each other when it comes to being hostile towards one another if you ask me. I've known both men and women who have bitched others out and spread gossip about people so the way I see it we're all pieces of shit to each other.

Look at the shit that can go round on Tumblr.(The fucking superwholockers man...)
Look at the shit that can go round on Wizardchan.

Both have an infinitely high proportion of bitter little shit heads who despise people.

Yeah girls can be pretty mean and vindictive. In my experience girls can be just as aggressive as boys. It pretty much depends on the individual.
 
This is not something you should be genuinely concerned about.
 
Both will use whatever approach they believe most effective. I've seen women hit guys they know would never strike back and I've seen guys go to great lengths to pretty much exile a girl from a group just because she ignored his advances. People are assholes.
 
Well, male bullies only harass you if they see you. Otherwise, out of sight, out of mind.
Female bullies do most of their work behind the scenes. Yeah this is high school stuff, but sometimes middle-aged people do it.

I don't know much/anything about pagan magick stuff or whatever, but I've heard that in a past culture with Wicca or something close, magick was really only for women. Men who were into it were held in contempt, as men were supposed to fight their enemies face to face, and women did magick.

Looks like that never changed.
