If you want to explore the makeup, some cute K-beauty brands with good products are Etude House, Peripera (CVS is starting to carry some of their products, too, so you can also go and swatch lip tints, etc.!), TonyMoly, etc. Lip tints are a good inexpensive place to start-- in my opinion, water/gel tints are the best because they stay so long, and it's a natural addition to a no-makeup look. I myself only wear a Peripera pore-blurring primer (sometimes), mascara & eyeliner, light cushion blush, and a lip tint-- It's certainly easier on the skin than a full face of makeup!

Is anybody into ear curation/ear constellations? I've loved this look for a long time, but never knew what to call it. I have a lot of ear piercings already, but feel they lack harmony.
I really love what I see from Maria Tash, but it's so expensive. With 9 ear piercings I would spend over a grand easily. But the jewelry looks so much more beautiful than what I usually see. What are some alternatives, particularly with silver or sterling silver? So many places focus on gold jewelry which I just don't wear much. Are there any helpful resources on planning or is it just supposed to be stuff you like?

I'd also just like to whine about the overabundance of gold jewelry and hardware in general, are cool tone people a minority or something?

I feel you. I can't give any product suggestions, but I have a couple piercings myself and I also know a woman in her 60s with a ear constellation and I can tell you the look holds up surprisingly well.

I just got my Sugarpill eyeshadow today and it is gorgeous. It has a really nice orange/pink shift.

My next purchase will be from Sydney Grace, I am debating on either buying the Autumn's Reign palette or a few singles plus a cream shadow or two. It'll be my birthday present to myself since it's next month.

I just got my Sugarpill eyeshadow today and it is gorgeous. It has a really nice orange/pink shift.

My next purchase will be from Sydney Grace, I am debating on either buying the Autumn's Reign palette or a few singles plus a cream shadow or two. It'll be my birthday present to myself since it's next month.

Sydney grace singles are amazing! The cream shadows, too. They don’t move. I shopped the sale and I’m waiting for a blush and a highlighter (“Paris skies” blush and “PSL with extra whip” highlight!) to come in the mail. Pretty much all of their stuff has amazing reviews on Temptalia, which is my go-to.

I've been testing out the new Colourpop Pretty Fresh foundation, and it's pretty good. Decent coverage, lasts pretty well. It's a more dewy finish so I don't think oilier people would like it as much. Not a holy grail, but not a complete dud.

I just ordered a matte shade (French Hens, a peach color that would go perfect with that Sugarpill shade I just bought which is beautiful by the way) and a cream shadow (Sugar Plum Fairy). I really hope I like them, and if I do, I will probably purchase one of their palettes or even the magnetic palettes whenever that restocks as a birthday present for myself.

I bought the Sydney Grace Enduring Love palette, and I'm very happy with it. The shadow quality is excellent, and I like the fact that they're somewhat local to me.

I heard so many good things about Enduring Love. I like how they have two different types; light and dark. I can't really decide which of the two I really want. Autumn's Reign has so many gorgeous colors and I'm trying to force myself to step out of wearing just neutral shades (although I am nuts over orange shades).

I'm finally replacing my nasty old eyeshadows with the It's All Good palette from ColourPop. Also grabbed some liquid matte lipsticks to replace some of the Jeffree* ones I used up.

How many of you are familiar with Etude House? It's a Korean makeup brand that has really nice items with some cute packaging at usually some pretty low prices. Personally, I like Korean/Japanese makeup brands because it doesn't make my butthurt sensitive skin freak out. For example I have this palette by them:

Yeah, it's my go to. I wouldn't say it's a miracle, it's just marginally better than other mascaras I've tried.
Pro tip, I buy the travel sizes (or get them for free in promos) because the big tube has so much product you don't use most of it by the time you're supposed to buy a new one (three months, I stretch it out a little but it does start getting dry and crumbly after a few months)

Travel sizes are the best. I think everything should have a travel size so you can try new products without buying a full size. Especially with mid to high end products.

IRL it's more cool-toned, and a little softer than in the the pics and looks good on those with cool-tones such as me.

In summer I recommend to not wear them more than a hour and wash them after some uses if you wear caps, but with straw hats that doesn't matter.
But in winter you can wear them whenever you can because you don't ruin the fabric with sweat. And don't forget them to wash them.

I have two hats from Primark. I'm considering getting a fur hat for the winter. A local place sells it for pretty cheap.
