I think they're both lovely, @JambledUpWords, the colors of the cape are beautiful. Is the skirt from etsy, too?
The skirt is from ASOS. I haven’t received either item yet, so I don’t know for sure how well the colors will go together. If they don’t it’s fine, there are plenty of other ways to wear both things.

Too Faced has a pumpkin spice palette out, and while I am no pumpkin spice bitch I really have been going for those sorts of shades for the past few months. Not just because of autumn, I'm kind of copying a girl I follow on IG.

But I don't like that I have to order it offline from a site I've never dealt with. I like to buy my makeup in-store only unless it's an item I have used many times and need to re-order. But apparently this palette is exclusive to this site.

This was actually out last year too - might be a slightly different product, but I was interested last year being a pumpkin spice bitch myself and seeing it again has turned me off because i never heard if it was good or not. Too Faced holiday stuff is notoriously bad also, and it's weird that it's only sold on hsn.

Too Faced holiday stuff is always junk. And fuck hsn, if you read reviews on their website practically no one is ever happy buying anything from them. I bought something from there years ago, don't even remember what it was, but I was pissed.
You just saved me money. Thank you friend

Did another ColourPop order with the announcement of their new Disney Collection. A lot of the colors caught my eye and I had to get some stuff ... Partly because "Yay, being girly with Disney Princesses!" but mostly because of a new liquid lipstick formula that debuted with the collection. And because I needed some new cheek stuff anyway.

The new liquid lipsticks are super comfortable to wear. They remind me of a slightly better version of the NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams. I wouldn't recommend these for long wear (as I wouldn't classify them as traditional long wearing liquid lipsticks), but I would totally recommend them as matte lipsticks. They "blend" into your lips pretty naturally, and they fade nicely (so you don't have to reapply immediately). I also find that they stain a little bit, which I don't mind. I got the lipstick shades in Prince Edward, Beast, and Prince Phillip.

I also got the Belle blush, the Giselle highlighter, and the Cinderella highlighter. All of them are really nice, though I don't think they're must-haves if you already have colors like them.

I wanted to get the new eyeshadow palette from this collection, but ColourPop keeps insisting on adding pressed glitters into these palettes, and it drives me nuts. The glitters are really gorgeous ... But they're not eye safe! It's a bummer, because I do love a lot of the shades in this new eyeshadow palette. All of the Tiana-themed shades are just calling to me because they're so pretty.

I wear a lot of the pressed glitters by colourpop and have never had an issue. I was hesitant as I lived through the riotgrll 90s and am very familiar with glitter injuries. ymmv

I read something recently that gave me the impression QVC and HSNs entire market is basically people with shopping addictions

I've never even seen the TV channels I just ended up on the website somehow. But you're probably right.

@PolexiaAphrodisia HSN also tend to have their Too Faced palettes forever. I remember HSN had an exclusive too faced palette that was "limited edition" and exclusive, but it was on their website for like 2 years lol. So in any case there's no rush to get it. If you decide you simply must have it you could always buy it later. And it may end up on other websites eventually. Or if you're truly obsessed you could grab one from Poshmark.

I wouldn't bother though. Their holiday eyeshadow palettes really do have an awful reputation.

I was in Copenhagen last weekend and found this amazing dress from an American brand called Stop Staring! in a shop specialized in vintage clothing. Very expensive, but it fit me like a glove and I don't buy clothes that often anyway so I couldn't resist

Anyone doing anything fun makeup/clothing-wise for Halloween? I'm going to be working that evening and I can't dress differently, but I bought a cheap unicorn horn headband and I plan on going a little wild with pastel makeup colors and glitter.
I’m being Little Red Riding Hood and my husband is the Big Bad Wolf. For my costume, I’m wearing this long burgundy cape I got from the renaissance fair and I found a vintage picnic basket for me to carry along with it. I’m planning on handing out candy this year, so I’m going to fill the picnic basket with the candy.

That sounds cute af <3 man I love Halloween so much :')
I made this maleficent style horn headpiece but with red fabric flowers and chains hanging from the horns.. Gonna do some angular contoured make up to go with it

I am not big on dressing up for Halloween like I used to be, but I put on orange (and a hint of red) eyeshadow when I went to a Halloween party last weekend.

On another note, I don't care for MannyMUA, but I am really tempted to try Lunar Beauty stuff. The Moon Spell palette looks pretty.

That maleficent headpiece is amazing dude. I'm the most basic bitch, I'm always a crow or a black cat for halloween. I can't find my crow mask so, cat it is. /ᐠ。‸。ᐟ\

Even if I was creative I don't think I'd go all out. Where I live it's still sort of hot and muggy this time of year. I need to be comfy especially if I'm drunk.

I did notice that Hot Topic lel has a comfy Beetlejuice sandworm costume this year that is fucking KEYUTE. If had seen that earlier I probably would've bought it and I could've carried around my Beetlejuice plushie. Ah well.

I've been loving orange eyeshadow lately! I recently bought the Colourpop Whatever eyeshadow palette and have used the oranges in it so much.

I used ABH Modern Renaissance and ColourPopxShayla's Proceed with Caution for my eyelook.

And I used to balk at the thought of wearing orange eyeshadow but I found that it looks great with my eyes and I love it!
