Thank you for introducing me to her. This is basically my vocabulary style when I assess a new product that my friends ask me about, so this feels like a subscription click.
I enjoy her very much. She gives good, informative, honest reviews, and she's wonderfully vulgar and fun to listen to.

I just watched her review of the UD Naked Honey palette, which I've been loving and wearing almost every day. She also loved it, so aligned tastes = definite subscription!

(But seriously, the Honey palette is a perfect blend of easy nude bases + the chance for some fun touches.)

I want to order a Kiwi-o'-lantern shirt and I'm trying to figure out which size I should go with. According to the chart in the OP I am in the XS/S range body length wise but chest wise I am in the M/L range. Would it be wiser to go with a small size or a medium size shirt?
Consider buying a shirt that fits you where it counts up top and then using a seam ripper to get an extra inch of length by removing the bottom hem. After you wash the seam ripped shirt, the bottom hem will curl up a bit like a raw edge and give it a unique look. The holes will disappear as the wash resets the weave of the cotton.

What's your skin tone (e.g. foundation shade in mac)?

I have such a ret.arded pokemon thing with the naked palettes. I keep buying them because "oh i might as well. i can't have the whole collection and not have this one." It doesn't help that I keep thinking they're done.

I'm a medium-light neutral. (I use a color-correcting CC+, so I don't have a specific Mac or Fenty number, I'm afraid.)

I was uncertain if it'd be too warm for me, like a lot of recent palettes have been. I've tried a lot of Natasha Denona minis, for example, and they were clearly made only for genuine warm tones. But Honey works well for me, though it'd definitely be a poor match for cool tones.

Why do I get the sense that 90% of the people in this thread are troons?

Wouldn't that be somewhat of a positive? One of the common complaints you see about troons is that they put absolutely zero effort into passing; if lurking in a beauty thread or asking a good question helps towards their passing efforts, that seems worthwhile. Being judged is an unavoidable part of the feminine experience, unfortunately, so why not try and make it a little easier for all comers? Provided the thread isn't overrun and natal women can still converse freely it seems harmless enough. The posts all seem "normal" to me, anyway. I dunno.

Of course, there are no women on the internet, so really it's a moot point. :drink:

I think gender tends to seep through via writing/posting style and demeanor - often enough to serve as a compass.

I can't tell if this season's upcoming holiday releases are extra boring or if I'm just getting extra picky.
Everything has just been done to death and back by everyone. Rainbows, neutrals, monochromatics, metallics, omg stop.

I would love to see a 6-9 pan palette of transformative toppers. No one has done that, I don't think. Stop recombining the same 20 shades already and get on that Colourpop.

I'm sort of interested in the Hourglass face palette but that's mainly because I don't have anything by them and I've heard good things. I'm not sure I really need it.
Most of them do seem boring or just weird

I never end up using face palettes enough. The ones I've bought in the past are just wasted money even if they're good, I just don't reach for them.

And it's tempting to think oooh i'D tRaVeL wItH tHaT but... I wouldn't. Especially not an hourgla$$ one

Posting in the Xenia thread has made me want to do a little rant about the one product I've bought from Lime Crime.
It's the Wet Cherry lip gloss in the shade Naked Cherry. It's supposed to be a cool nude color leaning pink. Firstly, this shit smells HORRID. The strongest, most artificial cherry scene you can imagine. Sickly sweet. Worse than any cherry medicine. Secondly, the color. While it does go on initially the correct color, over the course of its wear time it stains my lips BRIGHT PINK. This is caused by the company being too inept to formulate pigments that don't break down while being worn. And guess what? The gloss color looks terrible applied over my now-bright pink lips. Awesome. Finally, this bitch was $18 dollars. Lime Crime is so over priced it kills me. I was hoping they couldn't be so inept as to mess up a fucking lip gloss, but nope. My drugstore glosses are better!
If you like Lime Crime that's fine, I just think that one product was trash.

I need advice on making an outfit work. I have this jacket that’s a little longer than crop-top length that goes well with high waist jeans. The fabric on the jacket is light enough that I can keep it zipped up at all times like a blouse. A black turtleneck tank top goes underneath.

My problem is that the length of the jacket is just short enough that it sometimes rises above the top of the jeans if I lift my arms up too high or bend over too far. It’s not a terrible issue, but it’s awkward and restricting. The outfit works in every way except for this.

Is there a discreet way to pin the edges of the jacket down? Something besides safety pins.

I bought this yesterday from Etsy. It looks really cool and it isn’t just a cape. It can be worn as an over skirt or a sarong as well. I’m really excited for it. I know the style is a bit more niche, but I’m thinking of pairing this with this skirt:
