Yeah, I have no problem dropping big bucks on something awesome but I LIVE FOR colourpop especially because they are almost insultingly affordable compared to other makeup. LIVE FOR. to the point where I had to give a bunch of half used everything away so I could buy more. Tgey hooked me by having a great actual yellow eye shadow that was pale, no gold, rich pigmentation.

then they took it away. but, i still love them.

edited for complete thoughts because as far as I know you can't read my mind.

Man, I really wish Colourpop as easier to get in the UK. I saw the most lovely palette for 16$, which converts to about £12.50. It's currently £28 on what few UK sites have it. I could order it from the US but the customs tax would still ruin ny wallet.

I heard a lot of good things about fanola' purple shampoo so I bought it for dirt cheap on Amazon.

Bumping up this thread to talk about the lotion I bought tonight from Bath And Body Works. I'm loving their holiday candle selection but I only got one, Peppermint Twisted. Thanks for the suggestion @StarkRavingMad because it really does work well as a candle and I love the candy cane scent that it gives. I've only used it as body lotion before. I may have to stock up on this one.

I'm really impressed with their new Christmas scents this year. I almost got Frosted Snowball but the coconut scent reminds me a little bit of Summer so I didn't go with that one.
I'll list the ones that mostly got my interest.

Spiced Gingerbread Swirl
http://www.bathandbodyworks.com/p/s...ion-023897181.html?cgid=new-body-care#start=7
This was exactly what I was looking for when I originally bought the autumn spicy scent that didn't impress me. It's spicy because of the gingerbread and nutmeg. You know when you make homemade Christmas cookies that are spicy? That's what this lotion smells like. I put it on and all I can smell are ginger snaps. Very good and long lasting.

Hot Cocoa and Cream
http://www.bathandbodyworks.com/p/hot-cocoa-andamp-cream-super-smooth-body-lotion-023897180.html#q=Hot+Cocoa+And+Cream&lang=en_US&start=5

It smells like Cocoa and chocolate. That's what you'll smell like when you put it on. Chocolate. So if you're into a chocolate scent, this is a good choice. It's not a sickly sweet chocolate scent. It smells like the real deal.

Merry Cherry Cheer

I haven't gotten deep into this one yet but this one of course has a more fruity scent. I can definitely smell the Pomegranate cider scent that's added into it. The review on the site says it's close to Sugar Plum and I agree.

Shoe Q: Does anyone own a pair of Tieks? Are they worth it the money? Hush Puppies have the Chaste ballet flats for $70 vs. Tieks at about $200/pr. Are Tieks really 3x as good as another high quality pair?

I got this dress at Aeropostale today! And 70% off, so it was 17.85

If you're a really tiny person, Aeropostale seems like it'd be a good place to check out. I normally wear whatever the smallest size available is, but I got this dress in a small, and they had an extra-small in the store.

That's such a cute dress.

Thanks! I really like this neckline style--it shows a good amount of skin but no titty. The problem is I live somewhere it's cold right now, but I guess that's why I have tights.

That dress would look so great with some nice dark leggings (warmer leggings) and maybe a nice little jacket cover and hat.

I need to get some winter boots or just accept my very sad old pair is gonna have to do again, because dress/leggings/tiny amount of visible ankle/socks/sneakers is not my favorite look. (I really do need winter boots, though, because last week I wore two pairs of socks in the morning, changed at lunchtime to another two pairs, and then changed into a third single pair in the evening, that's how wet it was from the snowmelt.)

But flats with socks? I used to be the person who never wore socks, even in the winter, but now I think I'd be really cold if I didn't. Plus they don't tend to have great traction.

The only time I wear flats with socks is when I have full length leggings down to my ankles.
Speaking of winter- definitely get slipper socks that are long. I got some recently and they're so comfy and warm.

@Crunchy Leaf That dress is beautiful. Love the laced up, corset look on the front.

Dresses like this are so much fun, because you can style it in so many ways for all four seasons. For the upcoming cold months, tights would look fab with it! Navy is a universally great color to work with, too. It pairs beautifully with so many other colors.

Speaking of tights, they are my favorite accessory for the Fall and Winter, bar none. Especially patterned tights. Love them.

I'm in a spending mood (and it's cyber Monday) but I can't seem to find anything that I like. Winter fashion can be such a drag. People can't even see my cute outfits under my jacket (:_(

Dollskill is all 30% off, but I'm really not feeling it. Their Summer stuff is cuter.

I tend to go for those knit thigh-high socks that Aerie sells, over-the-knee boots, or plain black tights when wearing skirts or dresses, but I should give patterned tights a try! They sound cute.

I bought the Dollskill Stillwater shorts since they were on super-clearance and I needed something to go over some skintight pants I got - and the name is a reference to my favorite movie (hence my username). But I think the pair I got were made inside out, because the crocheted flowers are sticking out - whereas in the photo they are lying flat against the model. If I turn my shorts inside out then the flowers lie flat. I don't really want two embroidered flowers sticking up off of my ass cheeks and I wouldn't have bought them if the photo showed the flowers sticking up. Oh well, seven dollars.

I usually like stuff they sell by Current Mood, but Current Mood has been disappointing me lately. Sometimes Dollskill collections are a big swing and a miss for me, like that weird circus inspired thing they were trying for, or that racecar pit crew theme. I mean, I can't afford it anyway, but I like to browse for things now and then.

I like the Willow stuff, so I agree that the summer releases are better.

i've never been totally happy with anything i bought from dollskill tbh. It's not absolute garbage but every order has had something "off" (like the fucked up flowers described above). It has put me off that website. and their customer service sucks ass

e: like legit, their customer service talks to you the same way their item descriptions read.
