Sephora update: The one I went to didn't have my foundation, so gonna have to order it .

Picked up some new liquid lip products though. Got the Huda Beauty liquid matte stuff in Trophy Wife. The name makes my skin crawl, but it's the exact soft daytime color I was looking for.

Moving outside of the ol' comfort zone in terms of color: Sephora Collection cream lip stain blah blah blah in Coral Sunset. I'm a huge fan of their formula, but I prefer cool-toned colors. This warm shade is not my usual, but it's turned out to be very flattering. It's not what I would call a true coral, but more...brick-y? Not too orange, either.

Finally, Smashbox Always On Metallic Matte in Vino Noir, because this is burgundy season, and it's metallic without being eye-searingly so.

Edit:

I never had ANY skin issues until I hit age 30, haha. Once I turned 30, I feel like my skin staged a mutiny on me. I break out more easily,

Holy shit, same. Flawless skin up until 30 then BAM. Disaster area including FEMA camps. I swear by Arcona skincare, but I've been meaning to try Kiehl's.

I spent so much money on Autumn scented candles that my clothes budget is low. So I got some red tartan jeggings from Walmart instead. LOL, I'm not snooty about my clothes tbh.
Also the Tuscany Candle Pumpkin Spice candle is one of the best pumpkin candle I've smelled so far.

I am abstaining from the sephora sale this year. I have purchased soooo much makeup it's ridiculous. And the last time I tried some high end(ish) skincare it like burned(?) my face and I looked beat up for about 3 weeks. Fuck you, Algenist.

Speaking of which, I feel kind of embarrassed to ask this but does anyone sell their makeup? I'm talking mainly pressed powder products like blush, eyeshadow palettes, stuff you bought and used like twice? If so, where do you sell it? I heard you're not allowed to sell makeup on poshmark

https://www.reddit.com/r/makeupexchange/ is one option!

I love Sephora but tbh they're way too expensive for my budget. I'd have to find cheaper alternatives to Sephora. Honestly I just get my makeup from Target, CVS or Walgreens or sometimes Walmart.

IRT the question about the Rouge sale, I got all three of the new Pat McGrath palettes and two of the new Violet Voss ones.

Anyone have any recommendations for hair masks to use on fragile, bleached hair? I have a lot of hair but it's quite fine in texture. I recently bleached it and it's gotten so fucking dry. I've been using the Living Proof PHD shampoo&conditiner for a while and i absolutely love it but I need something to pair with it to quench my damaged hair...at the same time I just don't want to weigh it down too much!

get olaplex 3 on sephora. 30 bucks, 3 oz. put it (depending onon length you should get several uses out) on damp hair. leave in all day. rinse. you're welcome

I also got 1 and 2 on ebay . I use 1 in any bleach or dye I use, 2 after dying and 3 once a week .

Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence sunscreen
I use a similar sunscreen, Rohto Skin Aqua Sarafit. No oiliness, it just absorbs right into my skin. There's a floral version and an unscented version.
It was also a cheaper alternative for me compared to Watery Essence. 80g of sunscreen cost me under $9 total.

I... got within two feet of the Pat McGrath stuff, does that count?

Sure! They don’t even have a Pat McGrath display at my local Sephora. I think they know that it’s unlikely to sell and therefore not worth the floor space.

I actually kinda like what Walmart did with their clothes this fall. I love all the basic colors of camis and leggings. Walmart camis are, no shit, the best quality camis. I layer a lot and have camis at all price points but those $5 suckers are good. Love the leggings since I stopped buying tights a few years ago after getting a run in a brand new pair of $18.00 tights. I started wearing sized down leggings and boots with winter dresses instead. Walmart leggings are cheap and sheer enough to pass as opaque tights.

If you look around you can find some decent clothes at Walmart.

How do I keep my hair sleek and frizz free? I've never been too great with hair care/styling but I'm making more of an effort. I've shampooing with Paul Mitchell super skinny shampoo and using whatever conditioner/hair mask I have on hand. For styling I've been using biosilk's original silk therapy to keep it sleek during the day. It works well enough but I can't use it daily since I'd get greasy hair quickly. Any products or care tips I should try?

Walmart got a new distributor of clothing a few months ago, I think the one I'm thinking of is Time and Tru. The material is nice and it's so affordable.
I found some camis for $2. They fit perfectly so I'm definitely gonna go back and get some more when the weather gets colder.
I also like Walmart's wire free bras. The $4 - $7 bras fit way more comfortably than the $12 ones I found at Old Navy.

I have a hard time with this too. :c

Anyone have any recommendations for pink hair dye? I recently dyed my hair pink using Manic Panic's "Hot Hot Pink". I love the color, but I'm not super thrilled with how quickly it seems to be fading already. A friend of mine also suggested Special Effect's "Atomic Pink", and it seems to work super well for her. I'd like to try it, but I'm also open to suggestions of anything that will truly stain not only my hair, but the innermost depths of my soul.
I bought overtone and dry shampoo to try to maintain the brightness in the meantime, but I'd rather not have to worry so much about it fading SO quickly.

The ultimate girly question:

What's the best way to treat period related headaches? Today's day 1 and I already got one. Right now I'm taking Naproxen but are there easier remedies?
