One thing I've wanted for a long time now is this wing shawl I found online one day and had to track down.

It's absolutely gorgeous and fits the aesthetic I'm going for, (though I need to lose a bit of weight before I stop looking like a fake ass tumblr witch) only...it's over 200$.

And another kickass thing I found was this mask:

Also 200$ and not exactly girly...but I like it nonetheless.

Última edición:
I found my new favorite lipstick last month -- KVD Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Lolita.

Also, I need a dress for a wedding I am going to and I have my mind set on this one --http://www.modcloth.com/shop/dresses/v-i-pleased-dress-in-forest-green

And since I lost 12 pounds, I'm looking forward to swimsuit season. Anyone know of a reputable online shop where I can find a retro style bathing suit?

You can always hit up bodyartforms for more affordable titanium and opal septum pieces--they're super reasonably priced and even offer a autoclave sterilization service so you know your jewelry is sterile when you get it.

I actually get most of my body jewelry there! All three sets of my plugs I wear now (and numerous others that don't fit anymore) came from BAF. I recommend it to people all the time.

BAF is dabes. I remember when I got the labret that I use in my tragus piercing, it became discolored (it was a blurple titanium piece), even though it was discolored from being cleaned at my piercer's shop, they still sent me a replacement. I don't think I have ever had better customer service experiences than the ones I've had with BAF.

That's awesome! Thankfully I've never had a problem with any of my jewelry from that site (knock wood) but I've loved everything I've bought. I used to have my philtrum pierced (it rejected, no more internal oral piercings for me) and I got an awesome Neometal stud that I ended up using in one of my ears. It was a 2mm red opal threadless and I just couldn't stand the thought of not making use of it, lol.

I used to have my philtrum pierced too! I miss it. (I had to take it out for an MRI and I didn't want to deal with getting it re-pierced). I've been toying with the idea of getting it redone, but I remember it was so painful the first time that I'm unsure if I want to go through with it. (I've had around 20 piercings and that one was the second most painful.)

It was pretty bad for me, too, and I heal really fast. I had a hard time with my septum piercing but that's because I went to a shitty piercer who put an enormous 12g ring in my face. Stupid thing looked like a doorknocker. And that's why we do research, kids...

But yeah, I'm thinking about getting that redone. I might hold out for a while because I want to get breast reduction surgery and I'd rather not lose the piercing a second time. Especially not if I buy all these pretty rings!

I'm glad I'm not the only one, then! The first time I got my septum done, my piercer used the wrong kind of needle (standard piercing needle) and it hurt like hell...I found out when I got it re-pierced, my septum doesn't have a "sweet spot" (between the cartilage areas), so the piercer (different guy) used an "O" needle, and it didn't hurt at all. Just a suggestion for if/when you do get it redone.

I need help from my fellow femKiwis! Or anyone who's an expert on makeup. Does anyone have tips for putting on foundation? Or at least a (actually good. Not ForeverKailyn's bullshit) YouTube makeup tutorial? I'm starting to realize that I put WAY too much foundation on when I do make up and I don't use powder foundation because I'm told that would suck the moisture from my already dry as a desert skin, so I end up looking like a clown with a bunch of liquid shit on my face. I've been using less foundation on my face and I look better but my foundation still looks uneven. I just don't know how to blend it.

What are you using to apply the foundation? (Brush, sponge, beautyblender, or your fingers?) Sometimes a different application method can help you blend better.
