Here's another idea for an isekai/crossover: A plot similar to Outbreak Company and Gate; except two portals to two different worlds open. One in Japan where it leads to a fantasy world similar to RPGs, with sorcerers and knights, and the Japanese military and police fight them off until they call a truce, and they try to work things out. The other portal opens in a suburban America that leads to a Care Bears inspired world with colorful bears that make people happy:


Worlds collide alright. One running gag of this show is that these bears while making people happy can't seem to make the typical brooding JRPG hero happy.
 
I've had an interesting idea for a dramedy bouncing around my head for a while:

After a string of successful missions, a yakuza gets promoted to be the Don's (illegitimate) daughter's personal assistant. After a bit of a rough start, she sneaks out and follows him one night during an assignment. The episodes revolve around smuggling, drugs, gambling, rival yakuza, etc.- kind of like a "buddy cop" series where they gradually become good friends.

Other plot points I came up with involve the main character being forced to betray an old friend who killed his brother, and meeting the daughter's real mother whom he learns is unfit and wants nothing to do with her.
