Considering that Horrifying is neutral, and Islamic Content is mostly used by those who don't donate as a replacement for Horrifying, I'm going to have to agree...
 
I concur with others that Islamic Content is now a poor man's Horrifying or a makeshift Cringe rating. Most of my negative ratings are, indeed, Islamic Content as I imagine are others, but my biggest quibble is exactly how posts like this one are, in any way, related to Islam. After awhile, the rating loses its original meaning.

I say democratize Horrifying. Paid members can keep Deviant, Drink and Semper Fi.

I use the IC rating when I'd actually like to use the Horrifying one (I don't have this option though; by the way, is there a way to donate to KF without the cryptocurrency...thingy? I read about it, but it always flies over my head). For me it makes sense, since Islam is indeed horrifying.
 
No, Islamic Content is meant to be a negative rating. People just misuse it and rate it on posts that should receive the "Horrifying" rating. Now, if Horrifying gives negative score, then that's a problem.

For a long time not everybody had horrifying, now I just prefer using Islamic
 
If you don't like islamic content being negative don't post gross shit, it's not that hard. Or just stop being a faggot and just ignore it. It's not negative like the dumb or MATI rating so why worry about it?

Correct. Horrifying is for when a lolcow is gross. Islamic Content is for when a kiwi is gross. Don't be a disgusting freak who's as disturbing as a lolcow if you don't want the negative rating.

Oh. I always took it as "super horrifying" like it's something gross but there's nudity, gore, shit, vomit etc. Like horrifying is bad but islamic is really bad.

Nah, as I understand it, it's basically for when a kiwi posts something that makes fellow kiwis direct their disgust at him or her instead of at the lolcow being discussed. That's why kiwis are labeled as halal when their behavior is so alienating or off-putting to the site's community that it becomes acceptable to dox them and make a thread about them.

Horrifying = gross lolcow behavior
Islamic Content = gross kiwi behavior
 
Yeah. Before Horrifying became a pleb rating, Islamic Content was used for anything, well, horrifying. Now that anybody can drop a Horrifying rating, Islamic Content is used for terrifying things that are especially not pleasant to look at, like gore.
 
But Islamic Content is the Semper Fidelis of shitposts.

Islamic Content should be used for anything and everything. Nobody really needs any other rating. It's perfect.
