I know of a manSo now. Who has a time machine so I can go shoot that fucking crotch goblin before he makes it into the enclosure?!
Wtf is wrong with white American women? I'm trying to imagine the lady that made Inuyasha making the female characters defeat the villains with period blood and I just can't do it because it's so fucking stupid.
And the weird thing is the women who ARE fascinated with period blood actually don't want kids and so hop themselves up on birth control pills.
This dumb tumblr show doesn't deserve making a reference to Dirty PairLook who they decided to reference in on of the shorts

But when it comes to tracing source images two factors will be the most important. These are:
One of the elements of fair use considers if you transformed and added value to the source image in making your illustration.
- How much did you transform the source image?
- What impact will your work have on the market for the source image?
Say you traced a photograph that was a close up photo of a monkey and included it in a larger rainforest illustration. While you did use the monkey exactly, you added value to the photograph by giving context to the monkey. You provided him surroundings by adding in the flora and fauna of the rainforest. The more you transform the source image, the greater the likelihood of fair use.

It's definitely traced. The question of it being considered fair use is tricky, as there are differences (such as different colors of clothing and not as much detail as the original), but there are so little differences that for the most part, it's probably not legal.
The above information came from this source: https://theartistsjd.com/trace-source-imagery/
They're using their TV colors (though Kei's clothes aren't really that blue, but everyone working on this show must be colorblind anyway). The question of it being considered fair use is tricky, as there are differences (such as different colors of clothing and not as much detail as the original)
So maybe it's the fault of uni education deliberately failing to teach the millennials work ethics? Rather than promoting meritocracy, these hack college professors give them false ideas and mislead them that even if they are crappy at something, as long as they got connection, they will succeed. I think that sums up the people that are in the western entertainment industry nowadays. Gaming, comics, movie and TV series that are on are mostly written by people that are employed only by nepotism and get absolutely infuriated at the slightest criticism. In contrast to the west, Japan is still based on meritocracy, no wonder Japan kicks the west to the curb when it comes to entertainment.Honestly, I'd say the real issue with the pop culture these days isn't women but rather American Millennials in general. We're a fundamentally broken generation, especially my fellow Late Millennials and our Early Gen Z friends
9/11 ruined a whole generation of AmericansWe are and it breaks my heart.
Quality seems to be an important thing in Japan, and they don't seem to cave into this BS of being forced to like something just because it checks Id-pol checkboxes.
And because of that, women creators are actually deliver good stuff and earn admiration and respect...imagine that.
They have never watched Dirty Pair and just know it's memetic like Sailor Moon, it's just one of the shows that Media Weebs will pretend to like without ever having seen it, they might get a t-shirt with characters from one of these shows they pretend to have watched but that will be it.
At this point I'm surprised the red panda guardian thing ISN'T a cat. Seeing how cats are the only thing the creator of this shit fest will know love and compassion from as her eggs spoil, her ovaries dry up and her womb becomes a barren wasteland
But it's still a cute fluffy mammal, they need to think out of the box. What about a magical caecilian? At least a limbless amphibian that looks like a snake crossed with a worm would be out of left field and fits in with the SJW art philosophy of making things gross and unappealing for no reason other than "fuck conventional attractiveness"But a non-pet animal! Random! QUIRKY!
So was Kekkaishi, D. Gray Man, and Dorohedoro.FMA was made by a woman (who wasn't well-known beforehand) and that never ceases to impress me.
A woman WITH TALENT, that's the important thing you forgot about.FMA was made by a woman (who wasn't well-known beforehand) and that never ceases to impress me.
I think that's your rose tinted glasses talking. I'm reminded of an interview for Team America World Police where Matt and Trey talk about how they really didn't want to do a film that was just Bush bashing because if you want to see that all you have to do is turn on the TV. Shit how many people remember the 'Lil Bush cartoon shit was savage. I think it just seems like it's worse and there's more of it now because the rhetoric from everyone is so much more acerbic. After all, that's what the dynamics incentivize. More than ever before moderation and reconciliation don't sell, fire and brimstone radical polemic sells.I remember back in the 2000s Bush bashing could sometimes be tiresome, but all the Bush bashing in the 2000s is not one micro fraction of an iota compared to the amount of Trump bashing in modern media.
It's like, back in the 2000s a piece of media could, ya know, not reference George W Bush, but is there even a single thing now that can not reference Trump? It's actually quite terrifying how much Trump has colonized the psyche of America, he's literally all some people ever talk and think about.
On a side note I remember a decade back when you had stupid shit like Jersey Shore, how stupid mainstream American culture was getting, but now, even the counter culture is just as stupid, there's no difference between the fat fucking rednecks of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo and your typical urban hipster that would create or like something like this intelligence wise, it's all the same level of stupid.
Just ay yi yi yi yi yi, how much worse can things get?
