So, the new trailer for Netflix's Magic School Bus revival came out today and...yeesh:

Don't you just love it when a show blows so much money on celebrity voices that the animation looks like something you'd see on Newgrounds circa 2008? Shading? What's that?

Thoughts, jokes and memes down below.

How does something that came out TWENTY FRIGGIN YEARS AGO have more quality and energy to the animation than the shit I'm seeing here?

Kids don't care about who voices what. Heck their Dad could be voicing their favorite show and they wouldn't be able to tell.

Netflix how could you do this to me, you were doing so well!

Aww, I loved the original Magic School Bus books and the old animated show when I was younger. This trailer feels so soulless, and the characters and animation look so bland.

I always kinda wanted to fuck the teacher from the Magic School Bus, but I'd probably bang the new one.

Also, expecting Netflix to make anything good, let alone reboots/adaptions is a dumb thing to do. For every first season of Daredevil and every Castlevania, there's eight Bill Nyes.

This is cool, it really reminds me of being a kid some umpteen years ago. Yeah it's not going to be the same thing, quality, animation, voices, but it is still cool. I'm gonna make my kids watch it. They're going to fucking learn something whether they like it or not!

I'm so sick of this retro revival trend. I like my heavy, extremely dated 90s music to stay in the 90s and my hipster bullshit indie music to stay in the current year. Same goes with cartoons, movies, and vidya. I'm sorry you're so void of ideas that you have to prey on nostalgia, Netflix, but nostalgia won't keep you around forever. This reboot is just as soulless as the rest. Is nothing sacred?

I'll be glad when the millennial shut-ins who keep you afloat get bored of you.

(Also yeah it's just a cartoon, I know)

So they bring back the old Ms. Frizzle voice actress to introduce this new chick because........? What's wrong with the original? Did they just have to make her some 20 something with flowing hair? Do they really think 6 year olds won't be interested unless the teacher has some weird sex appeal?

Something something kids young babysitters more involved and willing to learn?

like changing somebody to a cripple, .

I swear to god Magic School Bus did have a wheelchair girl. I think. She was from another school they visited I want to say, and Phoebe may have known her? I don't fucking remember, it's been a while.

I don't know about girl, but Carlos had a brother in a wheelchair that appeared for one episode.

Netflix can't bankrupt itself fast enough
