* Claimed that he ran 30 marathons in 35 days and 300 miles in three days

* Claimed that he worked for 70+ charities and raised over 5million pounds

* Despite being a professor at Durham and Glasgow universities claimed he hardly ever slept because he had to work night shift jobs to make ends meat

The substack then breaks down all the instances of plagiarism and shows that none of his academic contributions have been his own.

The distinction I want to draw here, is with a lot of newer lolcows, you have a bunch of people making themselves part of the lolcow content. Genuinely harassing people, and making themselves problems for not just the cow, but people around the cow.

This was decided a long time ago, it's just that now the actual payout was approved.

It's not the anti-AI copyright win it's being framed as. The judge essentially said that training is transformative and legal, but pirating books is not. Anthropic illegally downloaded pirated copies of books and that's what they're paying for, not for the fact that they trained on them. The books they legally purchased and scanned and trained on were fine.
