I know you called the guy jeet coded and he never sources info, but pirat_nation on twitter mentioned that RPG Maker forums will shut down December 11th. Maybe something you could mention on the show to get some local archivers to work on. Maybe a post on USIPS as well about preservation of a website about as old as the Farms.

They are shutting down any new posting or account making on June 18, just under a week from now. In another post they clearly say there is no plan on saving ANYTHING, even as an archive. That means posts, threads, and even attachments are getting yeeted into the sun.
Imagine Null finishes his forum software and drops a notice on the front page saying "We're moving over to The Lolcow Guild, y'all and we ain't takin no baggage with us. Clean slate, for sure!". Imagine he shuts down any new accounts the day of the announcement. Imagine having to rebuild this thread, or the Moviebob thread, or any of the Chris-chan threads from scratch and only having a week to talk to people about how to do it. It'd be impossible. 14 years of stuff just gone for no good reason other than to put a new coat of paint on the site.
If I were to have to guess, their new software does not mesh up with xenforo and rather than trying to find any kind of work around they just said fuck it and decided to just delete 14 years worth of guides, tips, and shit. I don't even know what the hell the new site is running. I cannot find even an About page to try to find out. Ultimately, this will kill the new site and the users will just stay in the discord servers they are all frantically setting up/promoting.
At least there will be no changes to the store so you can still give them money.
