Everyone who cries about aborting down babies has never had to deal with a severly disabled person before. I have friends with severly disabled relatives and you can directly observe how soul draining it is for the entire family to raise and take care of. The media has portrayed this false image that downies/disableds/retards of all kind are just kind hearted good natured doofusses and leaves all the screaming, crying, pissing, shitting, hitting, punching and being violent, that occurs in 99% of cases.
Its literally hell on earth for everyone involved and complete misery in nearly every sense of the word but because society has conditioned people to think all lives are equal and all lives are worth the same they are too scared to admit that they hate what their lives have degenerated into taking care of disabled kids because it would make them a "bad person"
They are physical, mental and emotional burdens that do nothing but drain resources and patience and can never contribute or help with any problem, only cause them and make existing ones worse. You will never see them accomplish anything. You will never see them create anything. You will never see them improve the world or help anyone in any way. They will only ever take and take and take until they die or you do. They are the physical incarnation of the utility monster.
Its even worse when the parents have other healthy kids because those other kids are going to be completely deprived of attention and never be the parent's priority because all resources will go to the disabled kid.
This is what the reality of raising disabled kids involves.
Pro choicers like to pretend that women being forced to have a (healthy) kid means that the woman's life is over, no it isn't. Being forced to raise a retard however literally DOES mean that your life is over because you will never, EVER, have a moment of peace or quiet ever again until either you or they die and you will NEVER get anything back, and I'm not even talking about money, I'm talking about emotionally being drained and never getting anything back, which is even worse. "They're full of love" when half the time they can barely comprehend what love is.
I'm sorry but there's no mincing words with this. Some lives are better off not existing. Disabled kids are a spiked millstone on fire tied around the neck of the entire family and the society forced to rear them. Is it cruel to say that the world is better off without them? Maybe, but its even crueler to force people to sacrifice every waking moment and every single aspect of their lives without even the prospect of a light in the horizon to raise them. It is a genuinely hopeless task that nobody should be subjected to.
